HORRIBLE PHARMACY !! I've come here multiple times and they never have my prescriptions, they're super slow , and very rude. I had to move here because of Rite Aid closing , and it's so bad here that I'm moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy as soon as possible. It's been one whole month of going back and forth with drs and cvs to try to get my prescription (the fault is on CVS) and my drs keep having to resend them. Horrible pharmacy and workers . Drive thru is pointless as well, because you're most likely going to have to come back again , or have to get down . read more

I love CVS. Have came to this location over 6+ years. Usually I have some kind of coupon to use. They carry black girl sunscreen, which is a must have for me. Customer Service is absolutely horrible at this CVS Store. I called to re-order my medicines that were put back by a few days. The lousy customer service person behind the phone (Tuyet) totally lied to me that one of prescriptions had to be ordered, and there was nothing on the shelf. Call to compain with corproate all of sudden they find 53 pills now available. But yet, I was told someone else needed the same meds so they claim they gave to them, but yet they told me its a specilty item and no one esle needs that medicine. So you can see they are hibicual liars. Since this company cannot hire people with itegrity - of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightnes I am done with them. My specialty medicine could not be accounted for. I did not receive both packages as a starter pack and regular dosage in the bottle should have been given. Better inventory control and training is needed. My treatment was delayed over 10 days because of their mistake. An apology is not sufficient for such a mistake when my health was in jeopardy for several weeks while the matter was investigated. read more

This is specifically regarding their online scheduling for vaccines. Usually goes well. However, if you don't have the 3rd booster available, take off that as an option please. After three times and finally gave up. The pharmacist at another location was sympathetic to my situation. Her recommendation was to call. Ever tried to call. They don't answer the phone. Wonderful store with friendly professional staff but I made an appointment online for a Covid vaccine and received confirming emails and texts only to be told I was not on their schedule and their system had a glitch? I was promised a call back but have not received one yet. Now I have to check with SSA to be sure I was not charged for the vaccine or claimed it so their is no fraud in the CVS glitch ....I guess I will have to check against the second shot also as they say they have that scheduled too? I went to CVS Pharmacy about 5 years ago, and it was bad, I couldn't wait to get out of my insurance contract to just get another pharmacy. Well new insurance this year, CVS and Walmart are preferred providers. Walmart in Madera is just a joke, so we tried CVS again. Prescriptions I am out of the the doctor wrote a prescription for, CVS said my diabetic meds can't be filled for 6 weeks, 2 others that needed filled January 3, 2023 CVS said they can't fill until February 16th, it said right on the bottle do not discontinue use, prescription needs to be tapper off. I don't know how places like this stay in business. Just heard on the news CVS and Walmart pharmacy's are cutting store hours 2 hours a day, hmmm, wonder why. My new insurance offers a mail order pharmacy I just heard about, with 0 copay and free delivery, I'm going to give it a try. read more

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Went to pick up a pain medication and the lead manager pharmacist was so unprofessional and rude to me. He humiliated me in front of all the pharmacy staff and customers, interrogating me about why I needed the medication. I told him that he didn't have to treat me like a drug addict and he yelled at me and said yes he did! I have NEVER felt so humiliated and ashamed like the way he made me feel. If I could give a zero stars I would came to pick up a prescription for my daughter and the pharmacy tech Mona Perez was so rude and tried to belittle me. I have been coming here to pick up my kids prescriptions and she has always talked bad about customers and then throws the medication to them. I was less than 5 mins late for my appt to test for Covid test, first of all there's signs had fallen down in the parking lot very confusing on where to go I drove to the pharmacy pick up and there was a lady in front of me I sat in my car for 18 minutes I Had my phone on speaker while holding for someone in the pharmacy department to pick up to let them know that I was there waiting. The lady in front of me finally left I waited a few more minutes for someone to come to the window she asked me if I had an appointment I said yes told her the time also told her I had been waiting she told me I was late and she was ahead of her appointments, I am assuming the lady in front of me came early and she took her needless to say the woman in the pharmacy was very rude it would've been OK maybe if she was a little bit nicer It's a 50 min drive & not feeling well at all a total of two hours in my car after reading some of these reviews maybe CVS needs to hire some new employees or maybe they just like getting bad reviews totally bad management on their part, I'm sure there's lots of people that really want to work and can't treat people especially the ones that do not feel good a little bit nicer. As I was in line to buy my medication, the cashier elderly woman named "Kathy" was extremely rude to a lady who only spoke Spanish. The Spanish lady told her to give her coupons back and Kathy denied to give it to her. I was the bystander who had to speak up and tell her to give them back to her and she literally threw the coupons and I spoke up telling Kathy "don't throw her back the coupons, that's not nice" and called the manager, once the manager was on site that's when Kathy started being kind to the Spanish lady calling her honey and all... racism all over again. read more

Thier pharmacy is sooooooooo f****n slow....it doesn't matter what time of day, which day of the week or which part of the month. They should have an employee stay put at drive-up window. Today I saw a woman in the car in front of sign for her meds and still had to wait at least another 8 minutes idk how much longer than that Cuz I drove off. They always take forever, never answer there phones, put you on hold for 15-20 mins every time not sometimes every time, then sometimes your perscription isnt even the right amount i would imagine because the staff are more interested in conversation then with the work. I was told 25-30 mins for my prescription that had been sent in the day prior ive been here for over 1 1/2 hours now because they didnt even count it right so ive been waiting was told give us a few mins to redo it its been 30 mins and im still waiting will not be coming back to this CVS because its a continuing problem. read more

Be careful when you buy gift cards here and send them. I bought one, sent it, and it wouldn't swipe. It works only when you punch the number in. You would think when you spend $100.00 on a gift card it would work. I don't think I'll be doing that again. read more

This pharmacy is so slow. I took my prescription in at 12:30 and they said they couldn't have it ready until 4:00pm. This pharmacy is pretty good. I've been going here for a few years now. I'm a sufferer of chronic back pain due to an auto accident and am on controlled substances. I've never had any problems here. There's a few people I like better than others such as the dark haired gentlemen and a young blonde lady. They are always pleasant. I tried transferring my medication when I moved to Fresno but quickly found out that all CVS are not the same in customer service. I'd rather drive to Madera than deal with the crap service here. Plus this pharmacy is very patient since I'm a bothersome customer and call them to make sure when I can drop off and pick up my medication because I do live far away and don't want to waste a trip or gas . The main store manager is also super nice I accidentally left my credit card there and he held it for me and I got it back asap. I'd give it a 5 star but there are a few crabby people in the pharmacy especially the older blonde lady with the glasses. She looks like she hates everyone and her job. The drive thru pharmacy service was awful!! No smiles, No hellos.. this older women with a blond hair and glasses had a very nasty attitude! Then she told me that the main Pharmacist was not there and to come back tomorrow! I guess the Pharmacist on duty was too lazy to do the paper work for the control medication!!
