Of course, this is a pharmacy so you can pick up your prescription here. They of course have all the usual things one may find at a Walgreens, such as shampoo, cosmetics, and over the counter medicine. I've noticed the prices are a bit higher than at my local Walgreens. One interesting thing they sell here, that I've never seen at a pharmacy is beer. They sell 24 packs of beer, why make multiple stops, when you can only make one? Given that back to school season is quickly approaching, you can also find all sorts of back to school essentials at this Walgreens. Conveniently, they also have restrooms for customers.

As of this summer, the government required that they scanned our ID into the computer. No big deal, but it's only supposed to have to be scanned once and then they can use that ID to verify pick up. Unfortunately, the poorly trained hourly employees that insist on checking you out, don't understand the rules and require re-scanning the idea every time. The prescription even said "scanned ID in profile already" on it. She still insisted on doing it and wasting another five minutes of my time. Then as she handed the ID back to me, she said " now what is your name so I can enter it that you're picking up the prescription". Seriously. When I reminded her she just had my ID she says "well I didn't look at it" Don't get me wrong, I probably acted pretty irritated over this. But instead of making the customer feel any better, she just glared at me and handed me the medicine. Didn't say "have a nice day" or "thank you" or "F%*! You very much". Nothing. That is what I'm going to be spending on this store in the future. Nothing. PS, due to my profession, I understand these pharmacy laws very well. She just wasn't using her head or following the actual law. None of her pharmacy managers who are nearby and within hearing distance wanted to help in the situation, either. Epic fail since I'm also in a position to recommend pharmacies to people. I didn't realize I had been making a mistake with this one. Laid out like every other Walmart. Lots of parking. Employees were helpful. Noticed that they now have a gas station (they didn't when I came here a couple of years ago) and it was $0.20 a gallon cheaper than other gas stations do filled up the rental car here. These medications were recommended by Mr. Miller, and he also wrote down the names of the medications for me. At the CVS store, I encountered a very young and enthusiastic male employee. He not only helped me find the over-the-counter medications I needed but also provided detailed information about which flavors were better and how to use them. Due to my urgency to get home and relieve my daughter's symptoms, I didn't ask for the young gentleman's name at that moment. However, I am very grateful for his friendly and attentive service. I hope that CVS continues to have more employees like him, as not every CVS employee is as outstanding.

The store was clean and well organized, and the Christmas gift section was in between the front door and the drink section, so I did end up perusing this area briefly. Some cute stuff - I didn't know CVS has a relationship with Claire's, and I was surprised at the reasonable prices for the toys. Thank you to the kind employee for checking me out quickly and with ease. There was plenty of space to park in the ample parking lot.
