Their customer service for pharmacy is horrible! They text there is a delay in my script, I call because there is nothing on my app, no humans to take a call. After 5 phone calls, being disconnected by the robot I called the front of the store. I'm told the pharmacy no longer takes live calls and I'd have to leave a message on voice mail!! I was at the drive through at exactly 5:00. A car had just driven off in front of me. i understand that they close at 5:00 on a Sunday, but I'm sure that I could have been waited on for the one prescription that I was picking up for my 90 yr old mother. The associate just told me that they were closed and closed the sliding window. I looked at my clock and it was just 5:00 just then. I attempted to relay that information and she just looked at me with no other reply. In my opinion, I could have been waited on!!! read more

So sorry that I can't leave zero stars...this is the worse pharmacy in the area. The technicians are rude and after speaking to the pharmacist, I understand why they think there behavior is acceptable. The pharmacist is rude and has no control of what is happening. I had to have a script filled out for a child and they never contacted us to let us know it wasn't in stock...when I called they told me that it had to be order, that date came and still no medication. I called the doctors office back and had them send it to another CVS in Hammond who did have it stock....thank you Hammomd! Accept, when I called the Munster location they never lifted it out of their system. Afer speaking to the pharmacist on how horrible their service is, she hung up on me. Total fail! ... They were out of one pain medication and wouldn't get it in for a week. When I asked where is another CVS pharmacy in the area so that I can obtain this medication there, the self important female Rx technician couldn't be bothered to tell me where the nearest CVS was. I'm not from the area but my sister gets all her regular meds here. I just find it so wrong when a customer receives such aloof, pompous and don't bother me replies. Sorry CVS pharmacy.... your staff needs a lesson in being humble and how to be a tad more accommodating. Rather go to the W.lg...n's! read more

CVS Pharmacy - Very dirty bathroom - Drugstores Near Me - MUNSTER, Indiana

Utterly ridiculous! It was a circus to get my meds. After getting a fresh prescription, I found out my local Walgreens didn't take my new insurance anymore. Luckily, this CVS does take my insurance and was willing to transfer the prescription. First I had to sit on hold for 20 minutes after fumbling my way through an answering machine. They said the transfer would take four to five business days and that they would call me when it was ready. Bear that in mind. They said they would call me when it was ready. That was on Monday. When it got to Saturday with no call, I decided to call back. After another 10 minutes on hold I got through and asked them about it. They told me the prescription did, indeed, transfer over. When it happened, I don't know, because they didn't call me. Now the logical conclusion would be that if someone is getting a fresh prescription transferred over, they probably want that prescription filled, right? Apparently that didn't cross the minds over at CVS. They decided to wait until I called them and put the order in to have it filled. Problem is, how am I supposed to know to call in and place the order if you don't call me to let me know the prescription has transferred? So I placed the order. They told me it would be done that day (Saturday). A family member uses them a lot and said they're rather fast and so it should only be a half hour to an hour. Well four hours later I had received no call and so I decided to call for myself. The woman was courteous and did tell me that the order was being filled. She told me it would be done after 6PM and offered me a chance to have it expedited. I told her that was okay because I still had 1 dose left of the samples my doctor had to provide me with to tide me over until the prescription was transferred. Bear in mind here. The answering machine said the pharmacy was open until 9PM. Online, it said the pharmacy was open until 9PM. This woman told me it would be ready after 6PM, and she told me they would call when it was ready. I specifically asked if they would call, and she said yes. So I called around 7 or 8PM when I still hadn't received a call. Turns out, the pharmacy closed AT 6PM! I was livid, to say the least. Luckily, they are open on Sundays. I waited until around noon since they open at 10AM and asked if it was ready. And the woman on the phone said... yes. When were they going to do their jobs and tell me? Heavens know! I sure didn't receive any phone calls, and I know they have my phone number on record because I gave it to them when I first got the transfer started. 1 week later and I'm finally getting my prescription, and I had to check in almost every step of the way just to get it filled. This is absurd. I never had this issue with Walgreens. Ever. If they actually took my insurance, I'd still be there. It's closer and easier to get to anyway. But above all they actually called me when my prescriptions were ready. Not a great first impression, CVS. Not a great one at all. read more

Went to the cvs minute clinic and was seen by the provider Shatara Coleman and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. There was a small wait but I expected that. I would recommend minute clinic for quick great care. read more

The minute clinic is far from a minute should be named the hours clinic. The d.o. was very hard to understand and failed to mention there was an hour lunch to wait for as well as waiting wait for these other people. I am not feeling well and do not want to wait 3 hours. I can do that at a regular e.r. they should have more than one there seeing people. And one flaw on their computer system is that they do not tell you what insurance they take. So you are left wondering and hoping they take it. read more

I couldn't tell you how the service at the minute clinic is because I stormed outta of there before being served. I checked in online and when I arrived the computer system said I was next in queue 28min wait. The nurse came out and took the lady who just arrived. When she was done with her the system now said I had a 1hr and 16 min wait. I knocked and asked the nurse she said she was on lunch and goes by the system. I told her if she had gone by that I had been next and now it changed. She said she had no control. Really? I stormed out, sick and furious. read more

Kirsten, the NP, was extremely friendly and helpful. I've never been to a MinuteClinic before, but compared to my other urgent care experiences, this one beats all of them. I easily registered online and she promptly took me when I arrived. I know others here are complaining about wait times, but they have to understand that every day is different and wait times aren't always guaranteed. Just be proactive and sign up online, but if the wait is too long, you might just need to go somewhere else if you're that sick! However, I will definitely consider coming back to this location again for my flu vaccine and TB test for my program in the fall. 5 stars across the board. read more
