Being discharged from the hospital late at night is pretty much a nightmare. Running around looking for medication and trying to find a 24 hour pharmacy is not fun. Especially when your normal pharmacy doesn't have the medication. You feel like crap, you wanna go home, but you're running around looking for meds. Randomly chose this pharmacy because we thought it was 24 hour pharmacy but misread that it was a 24 hour store but it does have a late pharmacy that closes at 10 PM! The pharmacist was so helpful, kind, and informative. This location seems to have medication that others don't carry! The pharmacist was really helpful in trying to find the medication they prescribed me and we actually ended up going back there again for something else the next day. Although this is further away from where I live, it's worth the drive. I wish I could remember his name because he deserves recognition for amazing service! He filled it right away and we were able to pick it up immediately and get home quickly. Thank you! read more

Had to transfer my medications to another pharmacy - unfortunately CVS was only choice at the time, but staff @ 492 Concord St Framingham CVS pharmacy has been VERY refreshing. Helpful, on time, courteous, & keep me informed about any delays or needed refills,etc. They do return calls from voicemail, promptly. read more

Horrible. I was dropping off UPS packages. I asked for a receipt. They would not give me one unless I disclosed my phone number or email address. I said no. The store manager replied- well, you can drop it off to UPS if you want. I told her. Things like this make me not want to use CVS. read more

I had a scheduled flu shot appointment at the CVS in Natick. I was told rudely and without an apology or explanation by the pharmacy manager that I did not have an appointment, even though I showed her my confirmation. I was told to come back the next day. I came back and a different pharmacy manager would not speak to me and also told me rudely NO WALK INS. She would not let me explain and just walked away. There is no excuse for this kind of treatment of a long time customer. I am truly disappointed. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. Most, If not All men are incompetent at this location. Every single time I've gone to pick up a prescription there's been an issue, where they can't find it or they spell my name wrong, while holding my license and tell me I don't have anything. I just waited in line after being told it would be done after 6 to find out there was an issue. Now it's after 6 my doc is not available, no meds and still have to make another trip tomorrow. read more

Zero stars: Switch to any other pharmacy asap! Urgent medications are filled dangerously slowly (along with non-urgent medications) and this CVS shows ableism bias by regularly closing the drive through. Staff are trying their best, but CVS is doing a poor job of its main job: being a working pharmacy. Find an independent pharmacy or small local chain to support instead. read more

Omg...one of the worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had, and not just once. It's every time I am forced to go there, which is only if my regular pharmacy is out of one of my medications. They are unprofessional, rude and inefficient. My doctor called an urgent prescription into my regular pharmacy, which was out of stock, at 12:30. So my regular pharmacy transferred it to this cvs, unfortunately. At 4 pm, the prescription was still not filled. After calling the pharmacy to ask them to please fill the script, and being on hold for 55 minutes, I had to hang up. My husband had to drive down to the pharmacy, just to ask them to fill it. He explained that I needed the prescription, and the pharmacist said it would be an additional hour, totaling 5 hours altogether to fill it. Apologetic they were not. In fact, the pharmacist seemed annoyed. I'd rather drive to the next town from now on, rather than EVER return to this pharmacy. Absolutely awful service. read more

I don't normally write reviews on here, but I felt like this had to be said. I went to the MinuteClinic today and had to do a urine sample. I walked into the women's bathroom and saw the toilet was covered in what could only be assumed to be either vomit or feces. Still, I tried flushing the toilet so I could get my sample. I pressed the flush lever with my foot and next thing I know, the water at starts rising. Quickly. So I rushed out of there, and called for help. An older man came out of the employees only room next to the bathrooms. I said "This toilet is clogged!" He said "Ok." I said "Can I use the men's room?" He said "Sure, I switch back and forth all the time. They both got locks on them, don't they?" I thought "Good point." So I walk into the men's bathroom and my god..I can't even begin to describe the terror I felt. Not only was there literal poop smeared on the side of the toilet, there was a giant bucket covered in dirt under the sink labeled "Hazardous Material". Even STILL, I put a brave face on and covered that toilet in enough toilet paper to somewhat disguise the true horror of it. Once covered, I sat on the toilet and did my business. Unfortunately, I was so distracted and ovewhelmed by these circumstances that I forgot to use the collection cup. I'm not saying this was entirely their fault, but if the bathrooms weren't so poorly managed maybe things would have turned out a little differently. I shamefully walked back to the clinic exam room and told the NP what happened. She was mostly confused, but overall super nice about it. She let me take the sample cup home with me and put my chart on hold. I go to CVS for all my prescription needs and love the convenience of the MinuteClinic. However, I expect a lot more from a PHARMACY when it comes to bathroom cleanliness and maintenance. read more

I've used this CVS Pharmacy since they opened this location years and years ago. Used to be great but is now a total nightmare. I have two auto refill prescriptions that I can't not take and this pharmacy gets them wrong every single month despite specific instructions from my doctors and severe allergy notes in my account from previous conscientious pharmacists who've long since left CVS. This results in delays in filling them and requires me to have to go in in person to sort it out every four weeks despite not being well enough to do this because no one ever answers the phone there to fix it that way. I give them two stars and not one because it isn't entirely the fault of the pharmacy staff. I get they're understaffed, overworked and underpaid by CVS but how hard is it to pay attention to a patient's serious information? And not mess it up on every refill? It's time to find a new pharmacy. read more

I love the company CVS, but this has got to be one of the worst stores out there. Unfortunately, it's just my nature to like everything to be a certain way, and while it may seem extremely nit picky, there have to be people (like myself) to notice even the most unique and ridiculous things to complain about before a bigger problem emerges. First off, HUGE potholes in the parking lot of this place. I'm surprised that no one else has complained.... then again, telling from the way I was treated by management here, I wouldn't be surprised if one person or numerous people did complain and nothing was done to fix it. Next, the CVS sign on the building needs work. Currently, there are THREE birds nests inside of the sign.... they definitely all need to be plastered over with the shiny plastic protectors that many other stores use to avoid having this happen. And next, while it may be inconvenient, if they really need to do renovations, just close for a day or do it overnight while very few people are in the store. I really don't enjoy hearing the ridiculous loud saws or whatever they were using to tear up the health care aisle. I do like renovations and they are needed from time to time in any store, but there is a time and a way of doing them. And lastly, the management team here is absolutely horrible. I brought two receipts back from one of my local CVS stores in effort of receiving two refunds of $1.00 and $1.50 for a few coupons that I forgot to use on my recent purchases (all within the past 72 hours). Upon requesting this at the checkout register, the cashier, Auora (who was very friendly and helpful), said she would need to get the manager to ask about this. Numerous times in the Dedham CVS I have not had an issue with this, so I figured it wouldn't be an issue here. However, it was. Jonelle, the manager on duty, was extremely rude. She came up to me and said there is no way to process them. I explained to her that I had no issue with this previously at CVS in Dedham. She gathered all the receipts and coupons that I laid out on the checkout counter, stuck her hand out with it all, smiling and said "then go to Dedham". I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally by anyone at any other CVS location in the past. Very appalling. Don't bother with this CVS. They are not worth your time. The CVS locations on Concord Street in Framingham and Route 9 in Wellesley are both newer, larger, and have friendly and kind management. Specifically, I went to the Route 9 location in Wellesley right after this and the manager there was extremely friendly and helpful, and got me a refund fast and efficiently. Kudos to them.... they know what customer service is. 1 star for the Natick store. Don't even bother. read more

This is the closest CVS to my residence, although I go to the Wellesley one when I go grocery shopping. I primarily go to CVS instead of the nearby Walgreens because of the CVS Caremark discount I get on every purchase due to getting my health insurance prescriptions filled by CVS and CVS Caremark (by mail)--and because I get frequent coupons for 25-30% off either any single item or my entire order. The things I don't like: The parking lot is crazy, probably there's nothing CVS can do about it given the layout of the store on the lot. At least if you have an accident in it, there's the Minute Clinic in the store LOL. The pharmacy is always under-staffed--anyone who uses the pharmacy should be using the CVS app on their smartphone, it tells you when your prescription is ready. The drive-through pharmacy window is very slow, but again I don't know what could be done about it, there's only the one window and staffer; I never use that. I buy Glucerna but this smaller store doesn't stock the 16-pack of bottles that I have to get in Wellesley. I can never use my discount coupons on Gillette razor blades because those are always on sale (which is good for non-coupon holders). The things I like: The checkout staff is always nice, maybe I go to the store too often LOL. I am always asked by a floor staffer if I need help finding something (I bet you don't know where the caffeine tablets are), and if I do, they walk me to the product. For routine "urgent care" things such as a flu shot, this Minute Clinic is excellent, vastly better than the "clinic" at the Natick Walgreens (but there are two better urgent care facilities on Rt. 9 a mile or two away, with X-ray machines and multiple medical providers). (There are some negative reviews here that clearly are unfair due to dumb things on the part of those customers.) read more

This latest time they shorted me on one of my more important meds by over a week! Bad enough I'll be without it for a few days, but I can't get it refilled early and insurance won't cover it anyways. CVS Pharmacy is a very fun place to go. They have everything one would need. Their snack isles are my favorite part. All the snacks are a delight to the taste buds. The makeup section has all the makeup that I need in it. From concealer to cover my acne to all different shades of lipstick. Many times have my mother goose and I come here. Usually everyday. (It's an issue). Are receipts are as long as me. But we usually have CVS bucks which makes mother goose very happy. Over all a glorious establishment! 5 stars! read more

I needed to pick up up something for my sick child so knowing pharmacies are often slow, I called well in advance and gave them an extra 90 minutes after the "promised" time. Still not ready, and all I got from Nicole at the pharmacy counter was an attitude. Not sure if Walgreens across the street is better, but it just couldn't be worse. I just love CVS. I get so excited when I'm home and there is one, seemingly, on every corner. They have the best selection and best prices of any other drugstore, anywhere I've been in the country. What a crappy place! They wouldn't sell me a night cold medicine because I needed id and I just bought one at 7/11! I spend $35 and they saw everything I bought for my very sick friend at home! So I had to go back home but at the register the cashier guy didn't say anything about an ID he would have given me the items if I would have had the correct credit card, but after when I came back the lady wouldn't sell it even after showing two pictures of two different yet valid IDs!!! Can't use coupons here, got a coupon for my birthday and they wouldn't honor it because the item was ' buy one and get one free', I only wanted to buy the one item at full price but they would not honor the coupon because there was a sale attached. I have contacted corporate customer service to figure this out and will see what they have to say. When you go in the store you will notice that 90% of their items are on sale so what good are the coupons even if you want to pay full price. read more

The pharmacy is a joke. They never have prescriptions ready on time, they care only about the drive thru. Yesterday there were 6 people working behind the counter and a line of 9 people had formed and only 1 person was working the counter. the other 5 were talking among themselves, and looking busy. But they were not looking at the counter nor the computers. Add to the fact that this is the 3rd time my wife and I have had problems with this CVS. Prior times had them 2and a half hours behind on filling prescriptions. Also they are very rude when you change your insurance information and do not call to confirm that the amount for co-pays has changed, and look at you like it's your fault they have the wrong info, despite the fact that they get out prescription info from the insurance company. Final straw yesterday, after waiting in line 30 mins, get to the counter, and the prescription had changed, which we knew about from our doctor, but didn't know the price changed from $15 to $50. Per refill. Needless to say, we didn't pay, we left the few minor purchases on their counter as well and walked out. This is consistently one of the worst CVS locations I've been too. I think it's a management issue at the pharmacy. Seems like people want to just pass the buck around. Finally just had to put my foot down after being sent back and forth to two lines, meanwhile the two guys are standing ten feet apart from each other on the other side of the counter, not communicating at all, just pawning me off on each other and generating more confusion. Finally had to say "one of you needs to finish my transaction with me, I can't keep re-explaining myself to you". It was like the DMV. Frankly never seen anything like it. Felt bad for the guy who was obviously newer, the brunette with the ponytail and glasses was just flat out refusing to help the guy. Clearly he needed assistance. She was like stonewalling him. Very unprofessional, seems like it needs a corporate visit. Your staff is obviously overwhelmed, even in a moment that was really not that busy. But it also seems like they need a lesson in teamwork. I agree with the other 1 star rating - this CVS is TERRIBLE! Besides the rudeness and inefficiency of the staff, they make potential very dangerous mistakes. An example - my 3-month-old son needed a prescription for a liquid medication. When my father went to pick it up, the person at the desk showed him a syringe and how far to fill it up. That amount was over 5X the amount that was prescribed. My husband and I have transferred all of our prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street, next to Roche Bros. The staff there are competent and extremely kind and friendly - very rare to find these days. My recommendation is to use this CVS only if you need to get a prescription in the middle of the night, when all other pharmacies in the area are closed. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. read more

This CVS is close to my work, so I've often had to stop here in the mornings. No matter how much time I give myself, I am always late after a stop at CVS. They have lots of registers but only one person ringing, even when there is a long line and other associates are nearby. It's incredibly frustrating at 8:50 in the morning. It's a small store, but they are open 24 hours, which is really convenient. The pharmacy takes a long time to fill prescriptions, even when they are called ahead. I think the person with the most passion here is the photo guy. He was very helpful with getting my passport picture taken, and I've often seen him rescue customers using the DIY photo printer. read more
