The workers are incredibly rude. They followed me around with dirty looks and made rude comments throughout my whole shopping experience.

Worst experience....went to pickup Tylenol which is now locked. it said press the button for assistance. I did twice and waited .... No one showed. Went to pharmacy and they couldn't be bothered because 2 of them were dealing with one customer and the other walked all the way towards the back. I came back to see if I could find someone on the floor and when I did he literally ran other way. I was so upset...I gave up and walked out. The pharmacist is always so helpful and very responsive. She was able to explain why my daughters antibiotic dosage changed two weeks apart (different indications). Another person in the pharmacy grabbed children's Motrin for my that wasn't stocked in the pharmacy so that I didn't have to go inside. I love this CVS. Have all my prescriptions filled here, there's a drive through, and staff are always friendly and accommodating. Though only one register is usually open, they don't get too busy and the self checkouts are always clear. Generally are stocked with the inventory I need and added bonus that they have a Santander ATM that I have never seen broken down. Lots of CVS relocations lately. This store has been only open for about six months and looks fantastic. It's spacious, has two brand new "coupon centers", and has a great variety in all departments. I was just out this way and noticed this place and had some CVS shopping to do within the next few days (expiring ExtraBucks), so I figured I'd stop in and use them. Drive thru pharmacy, huge parking lot, and expanded selection in many departments are several of the strengths of this store. According to the manager, it's twice the size of the old store, so it must be especially refreshing for North Reading residents. Extensive organic food section for a pharmacy as well... I go to MANY MANY CVS's and have never seen an area so full of organic foods! Just an FYI, if you DON'T have an "ExtraCare" Rewards Card (which are free)... sign up at the checkout and you will receive all sorts of great rewards and coupons. They are really good about sending and giving savings that are based on your shopping habits and coupons that are personalized for you. And if you do have one, definitely scan it at the red coupon machine. Yes, I scan mine all the time and sometimes I don't get anything decent; however, many times you get ExtraBucks and total purchase coupons (like $10 off $50 or $6 off $30, etc).  Staff here seem very friendly and do a great job keeping the store clean, organized, and full of merchandise (few empty shelves... at least for now). If I lived closer, this location would definitely be in my rotation for shopping. Why not five stars? The staff are nice and all, but they don't seem to be interested in pushing through coupons that don't go through (even if they are for the correct product). They also do not allow by any means customers to use multiple CVS cards, which I also do not like (since my local stores do). Overall, it's a great store that is perfect in terms of the building and merchandise, but could use some improvements in the customer service aspect of the business. 3 stars. read more

Horrible experience today at CVS North Reading MA. i was looking for an item that the CVS website was in stock. After failing to find it I asked an employee to help me locate it. Although I had checked that area and told her that she told me she knew it was there. After a second unsuccessful search and I decided to find a different employee and went up to the cashier. He told me that if I "didn't find it, it must be out because people steal things". Neither CVS employee made any effort to look for the item. I drove to a second CVS in Wilmington MA and, once again couldn't find it. I asked an employee who was stocking. She immediately looked up the item on her handheld and walked me to the item. Great service in Wilmington MA and poor service in North Reading MA. This review is looking pretty epic! Nice! read more

It's just CVS, I know. Everytime I go there, it's an ordeal. Lack of cashiers or self-service check-out machines are "acting up" or just not working correctly. Nice bright store and easy parking but service is totally lacking. read more

I stopped in the store this outdated store this afternoon. Granted, it's the Sunday right before Christmas & I expected it to be busy. First, the interior of the store is very outdated. The aisles are crammed with merchandise that just isn't for me. The store has a foul odor - very unpleasant. I selected 2 items and brought them up to purchase. I handed the cashier my CVS card and 2 VALID coupons for 2 separate items. I also had extra bucks I wanted to put toward the amount owed. The cashier scanned one coupon for 1 of the items. Then scanned the other & said that I wouldn't be able to use it. I calmly said to " read" the coupon and also look at the item I wanted to buy. Nope, I was told that I can't use it ... I then explained that there are 2 separate coupons for 2 separate items.. the dates & type are both valid. None have expired... I was getting nowhere & I then asked to speak with a manager. Apparently there wasn't one " on" this afternoon? Because thats what I was told. This again wasn't setting well with me. I purposely shopped for these 2 items. I purposely wanted to apply the valid coupons to save money on the purchase. Isn't that what they are for???? Ive never had anything like this happen at another CVS store. Expensive and always 5+ minutes waiting in line at the cash register. Always 1 cashier and multiple people waiting in line. No such thing as a quick trip if you go here. read more

This store is average, but the pharmacy is ALWAYS busy and NEVER on time with their projections for Rx pick-ups. 3 days in a row after my wife gave birth to our first child they manage to mess up 4 Rx doses that were all traced back to the pharmacy error and not the prescribing Doctor. DO NOT recommend, you are better off using another pharmacy in North Reading on 28. read more

I recently came to this CVS to pick up a prescription as well as a few other things. The prescription was super fast, and I also picked up some makeup, including the CVS brand make-up remover pads. I was less than impressed with the pads as when I opened the jar they were all dried out - not very useful. While I was unimpressed with the pads, I was more than impressed with the way CVS handled it. I voiced my complaint in a very fair and friendly way, and was immediately contacted by phone and email, apologizing for the inconvenience and adding $10 to my extra bucks account. It was awesome customer service and I won't think twice about buying CVS brand, knowing they treat their customers so well. read more

This cvs doesn't sell milk or any dairy products. They are also limited in other items including cards and gift bags just to name a few. Strongly recommend not going to this cvs ever because you won't be able to find what you are looking for. You'll be wasting your time if you stop here. read more

My family is very much pleased with this CVS. I have gone to all the other local RX stores in the area and this one is the best of all.
