i used the cvs pharmacy on bennetts mills my whole life cause that's what my family used, and when…read morecvs stopped taking my insurance about half a year ago and i saw the sign on my way to a doctors appointment in the hackensack building saying the pharmacy is welcoming cvs pharmacy patients due to the insurance, that's when i switched to hackensack pharmacy; lets just say thank GOD i did lol i didn't even know there was a pharmacy in this building or that it took my insurance, so finding this out is probably one of the best things that's happened to me cause this place is great; not to mention it's within walking distance! the pharmacists here actually seem like they care and want to help you, and even better; they're actually competent at their jobs! after being at that cvs pharmacy for so long, i just thought all pharmacies were that bad, so switching to here has been great. i was worried at first about there not being an app for the pharmacy but the text notifications work just fine there almost never being a line of more than one person when i'm in here compared to in cvs where the lines were frequently more than 4 people every time i went not even counting the people in the drive through; amazing. being able to wait in the lobby where the bagel place is or walk over to dollar tree while i wait for the prescription to be ready is so convenient, and the wait time is so much faster than cvs too, sometimes at cvs id have to come back the next day and i've never had to do that here i like that the pharmacy is also like a mini shop with a bunch of not just medical/pharmaceutical stuff you can buy, but candy and snacks too; the prices are kinda inflated for most items though unfortunately so i don't see why i'd buy stuff here unless i needed something specific i like going in here (also i love the small blue pill bottles they use)

This pharmacy is just like the old-time places I grew up with. They know your name and greet you pleasantly every time you go in. They ask how you are, and always have your medications ready when promised. As important as the personal service is, it wouldn't mean anything if they didn't know what they were doing. This team is professional, knowledgeable and very familiar with dealing with insurance. Insurance companies are now in the business of practicing medicine and are always looking for ways to give clients trouble. The staff at Future, particularly Lilly, handle the insurance company so well, and that alone is a great reason to do business with Future Pharmacy. So, friendly, knowledgeable staff, nice store, and they don't take any garbage from insurance companies. That formula works for me, and I'm sure it'll work for you as well. Go check them out.

My dad was running late from work so I hopped an Uber and took a train down to long branch walked a couple miles both ways. But instead of the girl telling me no cant be filled till tomorrow the 29th they have me show up and waste $40 that I dont really have just to tell me NO all I can do is apologize. If they cared about their customers they would take responsibility for their fuck ups they should've reimbursed me the $40 again been coming and giving business for years. But when they fuck up they are never held accountable. ( we all know how pharmacies work it can either be filled or not , its not that hard to see no it cant or just to ask the pharmacist. Thats their job not mine. I went off of the employees and again id called the Thursday prior when my scripts were sent over. Called Monday and Tuesday morning. I did my due diligence and no one could seem to tell me no not till the 29th. ) so im urging yall to go and find another pharmacy because when its your worst day they are not gonna give a shit or hold themselves accountable. The owner Carlos obviously doesn't train his staff well and was a complete asshole. Agreeing that the situation is wrong but yet you dont wanna make it right. Hypocritical shit just saving face. Every question I asked was responded with "um, hold on". Finally, a man got on the phone, said they work with Medicare, and the wheelchair would only cost me "$4-5 dollars"⁉ He didn't have any wheelchairs, but he could get one by tomorrow. He suddenly seemed rushed, trying to get me off the phone. I asked more questions...weight limit, width in inches, if it comes with pushrims, foot rests, leg rests? He had to look it up, and only addressed the foot rest question. Then he concluded the phone call. WTF?
