This CVS is most convenient as I used to go to a salon nearby to get my nails and often would stop here each week to pick something up either for myself -- or for my nail tech before my appointments. Also in the past, we had CVS as our main pharmacy for meds on our health insurance plan. And although we got most of our meds up by our other house, we would also shop here for various products. So it's a good CVS. Fairly standard. And it used to have decent service. Now they have self-service as well as checkout registers. And my husband has their loyalty program, so we get sent various coupons periodically. And yes, although our new pharmacy has changed and my nail tech has moved locations further away, I imagine we'd stop by if we need something that our local Walgreens does not have in stock. read more

Well, I'm standing here at the CVS counter, attempting to pick up a prescription. Attempting. Such a disappointment. First of all, if you work at a pharmacy counter, first understand that you are dealing with sick people. Watching the way the girl has been answering questions is just shocking. Maybe during her 6-month college career, someone should have taught her some manners. An older man walks up to the counter and is looking for advice on an OTC solution for an earache. Clearly, he is having trouble hearing. The pharmacist won't look up to talk to him (because why would you?). The girl barks at him a few trite phrases, then adds that he should see a doctor. He tells her that he is concerned because he doesn't have insurance. Her response: "Well, it looks like you have some choices to make." What the literal hell kind of answer is that?! Meanwhile, with EIGHT people behind the counter, I am STILL standing here waiting for someone to fill my prescription (which should have been done already) AND I AM THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN LINE. The ladies working the store department are lovely. Very pleasant. The professionals giving shots and providing medical services are fine. The ongoing problem is the workers in the Pharmacy, one in particular. (The young caucasian.guy) Several times he would come across condescending and just rude. The window at the drive through is ALWAYS close now. I had walking pneumonia and had to force myself to walk inside to get my antibiotics. I asked him about the window being close so often and if they're considering sick patients that are unable to walk, on oxygen, and do not have anyone to pick up their medication. Shame on CVS. I would not support them any longer and I will surely tell all my friends and family. read more

This CVS is located in Atlantic Boulevard and Powerline and it is the last drugstore type place you encounter before getting into 95. I have used the store several times for the same exact reason. I have to either get a gift card for someone or a bottle of wine to bring someplace. It is a godsend when you forget to get what you need before you heading somewhere. If you are anything like me and leave everything for last minute, you'll understand what I'm talking about. It also carries hallmark cards which is not the best selection but on a pinch is a lifesaver. Also they don't carry as many gift cards as Walgreens does, so you have to make do with what they have. I haven't shop for anything else and I don't really shop much at CVS. I have only ever used this store for what I stated above, and I am sure I will use it again for the same thing. read more

Quick service for checkout . Staff is really friendly . Sometimes it's hard to find staff on the floor but they're typically pretty helpful. The pharmacy department is on the slower side compared to other cvs services. read more

This locations pharmacy is so unprofessional and unorganized. To treat customers the way the pharmacy does and to have the pharmacist act so condescending it's absolutely unacceptable. You should look into who you have working there because clearly they don't have enough help or care about patients. I will NEVER come back here. They told me they are 3 days behind and tried to blame me for a prescription not being ready. It was sent the day prior and they received it as I was talking to the pharmacist. When you are dealing with patients who need to take daily medication without interruption and the pharmacist doesn't care, there is clearly a bigger issue. read more

And when you ask them to do their job, they got upset I would never recommend this place to absolutely anybody I am always on hold for 30 minutes or more. Girl at the pharmacy, after taking another customer ahead of me because she figured out she had to put in a little extra effort to transfer my prescriptions from another CVS, took my information, said she would arrange for the transfer before the end of the day...and did nothing. I used CVS Pharmacy a couple months ago for the Covid 19 test. Guess what I got the results after 8 days!!! Few days ago I changed doctor which is located very close to this CVS, so I asked to send my prescriptions to there. What a mistake I made. The first time I had to repeat my data few times. Then finally I have been told to wait 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes I got my medication. So just yesterday I went back to my doctor and again he send my prescription to CVS. Again I went there and again I was said to wait 15 minutes for the preparation. I stated looking around when finally I was called that my prescription was ready to pick up. I took my bag and went back home. When I opened the bag I see just one medication, what a surprise. Well I said, they forgot. Today I called the pharmacy and the automated answering system, recognizing my phone number , said that I had my prescription was ready to pick it up. So this evening I went back and there was one clerk only serving one customer. After 10 minutes I realized that that customer had dozen and dozen of prescription. So I asked the clerk if anyone else could help us, in the meantime more people were waiting at pick up line. What she said, no one is available right now. Finally someone came there after my complain. He was the same guy of yesterday. So I asked him why you didn't give me my entire prescription yesterday. He answered that it wasn't ready. Again I aske why you didn't tell me then. Well, I will never again visit that store or any other CVS Pharmacy anymore. Customer service??? they don't know the meaning of that word... what a shame... read more

I am used to CVS having their bathrooms locked, but I have never --- NEVER --- been anywhere that locked the freezer case for the beer. I wrote it off as the area that I was in and began the journey of finding an employee to unlock it. After walking around the whole store with a 0% success rate, my morale was very low. I awkwardly stood in line with no items and finally made my request to the cashier. As he began the daunting task of calling someone over the intercom, his facial expressions looked pained, almost as if I had just kicked his dog or ripped the headphones out of his ears and threw them in to traffic. The lady who unlocked the case for me was very nice and took me at the Photo Counter so I wouldn't have to stand back in line --- but she also dropped my drunk munchies (mmmm Honey BBQ Frito Twists) on the floor, and I'm still a bit upset about that a week later. I will be going to some other generic convenience store in the future. read more

Today, again as usual the pharmacy has screwed up my order. It's not that hard...two topical treatments for my face. You'd think I was asking for a deed to the Taj Mahal. Pharmacy techs don't know that certain medications are kept in the fridge so as the line builds up behind you there is confusion as where to your prescription is. Sigh. read more
