Horrible service at the Pharmacy. I turned in the request for prescription medicines and after 2 hrs called the store to ask for the status. The lady that answered was downright nasty. In the order form for the drugs it said they promised me the drugs at 11:35AM. I received them at 3PM. The lady on the phone seemed mad that I called and was wondering when the drugs would be ready. They have a sign that the customer should be nice and respectful. The pharmacy personnel should start with themselves. Last time I go there. read more

We came here for COVID-19 PCR testing as negative results are required for our upcoming international flight. Drive-thru process was easy enough. You have to register your request online. Once you answer initial screening questions, you'll have to make an appointment. The trickiest thing for me was to upload our insurance cards since I could not use texting options. Time limit of 20 minutes to register seemed long enough initially, but it became a fight against time since I had to take a photo of cards, crop them and upload them. Epic failure, but as the saying "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!" goes, so I got my photos ready to upload, and then tried to make appointments again. Actual test was a drive-thru affair. You show up on the appointed time, drive up to the window, provider will go over necessary patient identification questions, double check your registration information, gives you test kits, and supervises your self-administering test process. She instructed us to deposit test tubes in a bin and told us the results will be ready in 1-4 days. You had to establish CVS account online when you received an email. We were so happy our negative results were posted in two days. Airline requires testing done within 72 hours of departure, and obviously 96-hr turn around wouldn't have worked... I think it's an expectation management technique. It all worked out at the end! read more

I went to CVS in my town to get a COVID 19 booster shot. The people that work there are wonderful. The doctor that was doing the shot was not. I arrived and checked in online before I went inside. I went to the appropriate counter to check in, did so and was told to sit and wait. The doctor was given my paperwork. The seats were by the partition the doctor was behind giving the shots. I arrived a half hour before my scheduled time. As I sat down, a man who received his shot exited from behind the partition. Twenty minutes later, I was still waiting, and and Asian couple with their child came in and filled out paperwork to get the vaccination. The doctor, who was also Asian, saw them giving their paperwork to the pharmacy personnel and took them immediately. I was very upset, and asked the doctor why he didn't take me. He said he didn't' see me. He didn't come out after the man left to see if anyone was there, either. He didn't even apologize. The person that apologized was a store employee who I know from being a longtime customer there. So wrong. I love the people that work at CVS as they are nice, and this is no reflection on them as they did everything correctly. They are always helpful. The store is always stocked and I feel comfortable there. This is the first time this has happened, and it needs to be addressed. It shouldn't happen again. read more

I wanna doctor says how come you didn't take the drug I said never got it will not wait in that line and I don't wanna hear about nothing about bei being shorthanded, understaffed the constant problem with that store read more

I really have to give the people who work at CVS in Royersford a big thank you. I have complained about them before to friends and family but never had a experience so bad that I needed to write a bad review. Well today they really showed they cared that my prescriptions were safe to take with each other and even called the insurance company to get them to approve them, when I called them I kept getting wrong phone numbers to call. Aetna needs to work on their prescription hot line, its a real mess dealing with them, but CVS came to the rescue and even made sure to use my GoodRx coupon. read more

Unfortunately we all know cvs has been going down hill for quite a while now but we still continue to use them out of convenience. However, I reached my breaking point last night and refuse to ever give them my business again. Over the last 6 months I have had a couple frustrating and unprofessional experiences with an employee who works the counter in the pharmacy but just shrugged it off as a kid with poor work ethic and social skills. Last night I couldn't have made it more clear to him how urgent my situation was. My 6 month old son was diagnosed with RSV at 6:15pm and a prescription was called in to the pharmacy right away for a mask/spacer and an inhaler. I took my son home so we could get him fed and ready for bed and my hope was to quickly run back out and get the inhaler so we could give that to him before bed. I called the pharmacy as soon as I got home to check the status and see if it was ready, it had been an hour at this point. The said employee answered the phone and I knew immediately from his demeanor who I was speaking with, my heart sank. I told him that my 6 month old was having trouble breathing and I was worried about him sleeping through the night and asked about the status of the inhaler. He quickly responded and told me how busy they were but he would have it ready in 30 minutes, not ideal as we would be pushing back bed time for a sick baby but I knew I was at their mercy and I was okay with that. I left my house at exactly 30 minutes and headed over to the pharmacy which is 5 minutes away. I arrived at the drive through around 8pm and provided my sons name. The employee proceeded to tell me that as soon as we got off the phone he "got slammed" and "the pharmacist sucks, she's a fill in" my heart sank again and broke for my poor baby struggling to breathe. I told this man again that my son really needed this inhaler and he's a baby and can't breathe and his reply was "yes that sounds serious". He went on to tell me that he will try to get it filled within the next hour before they closed but he couldn't make any promises. I asked him if he could please contact me if it was filled that night and he said "yes, you'll get a text". I settled for that because I too work in customer service and I understand that sometimes things are out of your control, as heartbreaking as it was for me knowing my son could potentially struggle breathing and sleeping through the night. I never got a call or a text that night, no surprise. I called the pharmacy at 8am this morning as soon as they opened and was shocked when I heard the recorded voice say "you have two prescriptions ready for pick up", considering they had just opened. I quickly loaded my sick baby in the car because daddy had already gone to work and drove over to the pharmacy. My heart sank for the third time when the gentleman working the window told me my prescriptions were actually ready for pick up last night. I can understand how people feel overwhelmed, busy, unhappy, lazy, unmotivated.. whatever it may be in their job. However, when you have a customer repeatedly telling you that their young baby cannot breathe and you show no sign of urgency over that or you just clearly do not care to provide help, you don't only need a different profession other than customer service, but you definitely do not belong in a position where you are the one controlling who gets their medicine and when. To this employee, I hope you slept well last night knowing you did nothing to assist a helpless baby who couldn't breathe, when you had all of the power to do so. You are a rotten human. and CVS, this kid will for sure give you a law suit eventually.. if not him, one of the other disrespectful uneducated menaces that you have working there for sure will. It's really sad that CVS is allowing young kids like this, who clearly lack the maturity to do their jobs professionally, control whether or not people, and young babies, get the medicine they need timely. This is my in store experience during peek hours during a snow storm. Angry disgruntled pharmacists. Painfully slow pharmacy assistants. Long waits. Zero organization skills. One sentence to sum it up: I'd rather have a root canal at DMV then wait for a prescription fill in-store. The lesson learned: call it in and pick it up after work. Terrible service from the pharmacy MANAGER. I am so angry that i had to sign up for yelp to write this review. When i visited to get my prescript medicine, they could not find me on there computer. That, was totally fine but when the manager came to talk to me because other people could not find me online, was terrible. The manager is supposed to be the most helpful and leading. However, the manager came up speaking in a very bitter tone. Giving me eye rolls. My prescription was faxed instead of electronic mail. Is that my fault that they missed the prescription? And i am stilling waiting (20minutes now) to get my medicine. What a great manager right? read more

My family and I have been using this location to here. The pharmacists are always helpful, and the drive through is fast.

Unfortunately something is happening with their system and their customer service. They screwed up two prescriptions in past 6 months. The different CVS pharmacies do not coordinate even though they say they are on same system. I do not normally write reviews, but the people that work there are rude. So today, I picked up the correct one, asked them to waive the co-pay. The pharmacist gave me big time attitude. So rude. Plan to change to Walgreens even though it is slightly more inconvenient. read more

Absolutely horrible service! I called to check on my son's prescription and the young guy who answered gives me attitude, because it's not in the system. I tell him they sent it electronically hours ago and he throws snide comments and tells me to call the pediatrician back. The pediatrician had to personally call them. I work full time, so I know how frustrating work can be, but when you are in a service industry, you should NOT be permitted to make snide comments. read more

I Went to the doctor today, and received a prescription for a strong antibiotic. The Doctor told me I would have to "take 2 pills a day for 5 days." When I relieved the medicine from CVS printed on the bottle and bag it said "take 1 pill a day for 5 days." I was confused, since there were 10 pills. I called CVS and they said, "oh yeah, the prescription says two pills a day. It's supposed to say take two a day for five days." I was shocked at this error and said "wow, good thing I remembered what the doctor said! My infection wouldn't have been cured!" To which the pharmacist replied "well, it's just the wrong dosage, not the wrong medicine." Like it was no big deal! No apology. I feel VERY, VERY uneasy using this pharmacy again if they feel like telling their patients the "wrong dosage" is no big deal. Thank goodness I spotted the error myself. read more
