I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from the pharmacy staff at route 134 Patriot's Plaza CVS on Friday evening November 14th. I visited the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my father. Upon arrival I was informed that the medication was unavailable as it specified a name brand. When I sought clarification from the male pharmacy tech, his demeanor was curt, dismissive and unprofessional making me feel as though my questions were stupid and unwelcome. After consulting with my Dad, I returned to the pharmacy to request a short supply due to the cost and to cover the weekend. Another pharmacy tech treated me by rolling her eyes and with visible sarcasm. The behavior was not only inappropriate but also disrespectful. When I called out her attitude to a customer she tried unsuccessfully to deny it and her response was less than sincere. A third individual stepped in to assist. She was lovely and attempted to assist unfortunately the prescription could not be filled at this location nor within a 30 mile radius Throughout this experience the staff displayed an alarming lack of empathy and professionalism. Such treatment is unacceptable, particularly in a healthcare setting where customers, many of them elderly, depend on courteous and compassionate care. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I urge CVS to review this matter seriously and take corrective disciplinary action to ensure customers are treated with dignity and respect no matter the situation. Pharmacy staff should be held to the highest standards of professionalism, no matter what level, as they play a critical role in patient care. I look forward to a response. Thank you. read more

My prescription was sent nearly a month ago. Saw my physician who couldn't believe it hadn't been filled yet. Went to pharmacy spoke with pharmacist who said it would be in today. Got a text saying it would be filled by 5... Guess what not till Monday which puts it at nearly a month. Young lady I spoke with was very polite. This review is for Marissa in the pharmacy. I have been using this pharmacy for a couple of years and I've never had any issues. Today I was getting meds for my son after the doctor failed to send the prescription twice. On my 3rd trip to check on the prescription I arrived just after they had closed for their lunch break. I was initially told I'd have to wait until 2 but Marissa was a superstar and helped me out. She told me they were out of one the medications so she transferred to another pharmacy that had everything and also helped me figure out an issue with my health insurance. worse CVS ever. The cashier at the pharmacy was rude. My provider called in a scrip over an hour before I went to pick it up and when I got there it was not ready. My provider told me she was instructed to leave a message for the script, which was done. I told the cash this and was told by the Pharmacist she will get to the voicemail messages when she gets to them. Horrible customer service. read more

Sent me on a wild goose chase to get doctor to contact my insurance company for prescription approval, only to tell me days later that they (CVS) DO NOT carry the medication I requested, and they haven't carried it in YEARS, and they aren't able to get it for me, either! store is open till 10. had an emergency. went at 9:28. checked the hours of EVERY CVS, could have gone to another one.. but thought no this is closer to home. Had no time to go anywhere else because they all close at 10 around here. I was standing at the door and the woman just kept staring TOTALLY KNOWS I AM THERE. I waited in the checkout lane. When my turn the walked around the counter and said I had to use the self checkout. I did not use the self checkouts because 5 years old ago my card was compromised at a self out. So I left my items on the counter and told her I was calling corporate to complain. A typical CVS, the youth staff were polite and the store had the typical CVS merchandise. It is a bit smaller than many CVS stores. That said, I was able to find my item and check out without much delay. read more

This pharmacy is clearly understaffed and not well stocked but the customer experience is so poor, it needs to be said - if only for their corporate team to step in. Any time I've had to fill a prescription here, it's been a debacle. From waiting an hour + to actually speak to a pharmacist to them only partially filling my prescription, only to leave me hanging and having to fill it another, equally terrible cvs in the area. Worst CVS ever! I have bought many gift cards over my life without a single problem, as I'm sure we all have. Buying one from here is a nightmare! On two separate occasions I have paid for a gift card from this CVS only to have them both be absolutely useless. One for Macy's and one for AmericanExpress. If you're planning on buying a gift card, or anything else for that matter, I strongly implore you to bring your business elsewhere. When contacting the management for a 2nd time (after speaking with AmEx gift cards for over an hour) I spoke with Curtis who had a horrible attitude and told me that it's not his problem and there's nothing he can do. I would expect a lot more from a "respected" company such as CVS. We buy these gift cards in confidence and good faith... Imagine giving your elderly Grandmother a gift card to Macy's as a special treat. Only to have her go shopping and find at the register it's absolutely useless. Or giving your 14 year old daughter an AmEx gift card. She was very happy and excited to get it. Again only to go shopping and have the person at the register say the gift card doesn't work. Having to put everything back because of incompetence on the part of CVS. The embarrassment and disappointment is unacceptable. I don't think CVS should even be allowed to sell gift cards at this point and I think that this location should not even be in business. After dealing with CVS and calling AmEx I was told to dispute it with my credit card company. Wonderful customer service from a world-class company (insert sarcastic tone here)! They'll take your money and charge you're card but good luck getting it back. I usually don't leave reviews, especially bad ones but I felt obligated to. And all for a $100 gift card! This pharmacy was once good but has become terrible. Prescriptions are never ready when their app says they will be, even when they send a text saying their ready. Be ready to wait 15 to 20 minutes for prescriptions. They never answer phones, leaving it to constantly state "One pharmacy call," and "Four pharmacy calls" until callers give up. Lamar at the pharmacy is the best! He's efficient, happy, friendly and he knows exactly what he's doing. Our insurance just changed, and not only did he check and double check to make sure that all of our 6 family members were updated properly, he went out of his way to make sure that we were getting the best possible value on the prescriptions I had to pick up for the kids. On January 3rd I left a script to be filled while I went out to dinner. I found Wart Stick and purchased 2 of them. The next day when I went to use one of them the box was empty. As we were leaving for FL that morning we decided to stop at the store on the way. We got there about 7:15am to find the store was not open at 7 am as it was posted on line. My experience with the pharmacy was horrendous! The staff was extremely rude, unhelpful, and did not even bother trying to ensure they had the correct information. I ended up paying out of pocket for something my prescription clearly covers. Upon rectifying the error myself via the insurance company, they were stil confused and insisted I was the one who had made the mistake. After wasting most of my morning, I was finally given the correct prescription along with a refund. Overall, it was an unnecessarily stressful experience and I changed to the Rite Aid pharmacy instead. read more

Delirious. Tired. Confused. That's how we started our night before we met Sean. Wandering around Dennis. Until we stumbled upon a CVS, in need of a car charger. We had never experienced such hospitality as we did that one night at CVS. This man, this employee, this friend made us feel so welcomed into this consumer value store. This new pal of ours, this man we were blessed with was named Sean. He was so friendly and personable we had felt as if we had known him throughout our entire lives, like he has been with us through every life milestone for the past 17 years. We left the CVS feeling normal, awakened and oriented as we left to continue our night. Which is unfortunate since I had used them for years, but when I had as serious medical issue they denied me my prescriptions, blaming the insurance company claiming they needed an authorization. When I called them back they denied ever having received a call from my doctor,....funny since I was in the store an hour before that and they had it on record then! I was sent to your store to pick up a RX. Upon finding NO record of Rx, I was told to step aside. That tells me that the 5 people behind me are MORE important. I then went to the Station Ave store and demanded my RX back. They replied the store could have just called. Technology today does not get the job done. Carry a hard copy of Rx with you. read more
