The dude that took our keys literally sent us walking on our way in the thick, heavy snow, and my wife was wearing sandals. Don't know if we're coming back. Got one of those "How did we do?" texts and complained using that avenue and got no response. Maybe now they'll pay attention.

Tracey saw I was a little shaken up and try to calm me down by showing me what exactly the problem was - even made a video for me as he took out the part so I could understand what he was doing. Both Tracey and woman in the office made me feel relaxed and comfortable despite the unfortunate event. After a few hours in the shop, Tracey was able to get my car back on the road that night. As I was leaving, the woman emphasized to call the shop in the case that I had any further troubles on my way home. Very family-like feel! Truly could not have asked for better service!

Another great experience from Olson Tire and Auto. My…read moreregular tires were wearing out and the dealer said it was responsible for the "vibrating." The the dealer provided a number of options. I did a fair amount of additional research and then went to Olson. They provided four great options. All would need to be ordered and would arrive within 3-4 days. I also went to a big chain tire store. The chain provided two of the same options that Olson had. Olson was way less than the dealer (of course) and their price for the exact same tire was less than the chain tire store, as well. Brought the car in today. Received a loaner. They found an issue with the tire pressure monitor (which has been an issue with my car). They diagnosed it and tried a couple of things. It appears to be fixed. The diagnosis and "fix" did not cost a thing. The best place in Wausau for tires and auto service. Also, their body shop is top notch!

After waiting a 1/2 hr they come and tell me they don't have the tires for my car. I made this appointment 2 weeks ago, I asked didn't you verify you had the tires in stock that you needed to install. They replied NO. But they would be happy to sell me a different set for $65, more. Schierl or Pomps said they would match the price. Discount Tires Beat it by $20. I will report on how this turns out.
