I got the exfoliating massage and really enjoyed it! This spa is coed and similar to other spas I've been to, except fancier. There were plenty of changing rooms, lockers, showers, and a room filled with mirrors and hairdryers. If you are getting a massage, they ask that you arrive 2 hours beforehand to do the Roman-Irish spa ritual. Compared to other spas I've been to, the temperatures were comfortable and weren't overly hot or cold in any of the saunas or pools. Some things that were unique compared to other spas I've been to were that exfoliating and laying down on a warm stone were steps in the spa ritual. The spa ritual ends with lounge rooms where you can take a nap, read a book, and drink water and tea. In addition to the Roman-Irish spa ritual there is also a roof top infinity pool with great views of Zürich and a Thermal Bath. My favorite thing was the rain shower in the Thermal Bath because I've never experienced anything like it. You step in this shower and there are 3 shower heads that turn on in sequence with lights and sounds of rain and thunder, alternating cold and hot.

The lounge area was called the Cocoon and had comfy seats with water and tea and fresh fruits and magazines. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a time crunch after work and didn't really get to fully utilize those facilities for relaxation. The staff is really friendly and able to cater to English-speaking customers. I got the Skin Defense treatment with Nicole Buser. It cost CHF 150 and was one hour of luxurious pampering with facial and neck and shoulder massages, a light milk acid exfoliation, some extraction, and a facial mask. They offer your choice of either hand massage or foot massage while waiting for the mask to dry. I opted for the foot massage, and it was quite nice and hydrating. They use a lot of scented oils and stuff, so the whole treatment was quite aromatic. I think they used rosemary and thyme and menthol or something fresh-smelling. I would say this place is a bit pricey, but it's probably standard for something like this in Zurich. And the splurge was worth it to treat myself to my first facial in 4 years!

Now, if they failed to cancel my appointment, why wouldn't they contact me a day before my appointment to confirm? Had they done so I would have reminded them that I canceled the appointment. No, they failed to do what every salon does, call to confirm appointments after failing to cancel my appointment when requested to do so in the first place and had the audacity to send me an invoice? I will not only never return to this salon, but I will never pay that invoice either!

The first time (was also my first time in a Haman place) I went to this place I was very well helped by the staff. I had no clue how it worked. Especially once you are in the Haman part there is a small corner where you can buy some drinks and food. The lady really explained it very well and was so nice with us. The Hamam is divided in 5 - 6 parts (you have to follow a path). And you can end with a massage, for this you have to pay extra off course :) The cool thing about this Hamam is, wenn you are a member of one of the 5 Gyms from Migros in Zurich, you can go for only 5 SFr. Really worth it. If you are in Niederdorf and need some relaxation time, just pass by.

I complained to the front desk and they said they'd relay the experience I had to the manager (German speaking). For anyone going there for service, steer clear of Lino, he clearly had anger issues. At home in New York we call it a basic pedicure which is where they soak your feet for five minutes in water, remove your polish, clean the cuticles and polish your toes. day spa in zurich we…read moretried it out yesterday... i heard only good things about this place, and since i like to do Wellness i had to try this place out. my conclusion is: WOW. the whole area is great. the old brewery, a fer Little Shops, Restaurants and so. and of course, the spa... when you come in you see the old brewerie stuff, old placards and stuff from the Hürlimann Company. the personel on the entrance is very friendly and eplains everything. we took the whole package, with wellnes and "Rhömisch Irisch". we also booked a package with 3 different Treatments. it Begins with the tunel to the Dressing room. very nice designed, cool mood. and than the whole Wellness area and so ist just great. you can swim in pools who are designed like old beer barel's cool old walls with big Stones.... just an Environment where you can relax and enjoy... and the best part is the pool area on the Roof! woww. nice view over the City! great. also the Treatments where good. good stuff, nice choice. also the Restaurants and Snack bars offers good stuff. and the Price is not sooo high. especially for zurich! i will definitvely come back in the future! very good wellnes spot
