Membership cost £10, this includes a copy of newsletters aptly named Chain drives. The bikes are demostrated at many sports events. It's essentially a small but steep hill with two options at the bottom. The first is a slow right turn, which is no fun but makes for a safe abort-route. The second option, and main attraction, however, is a tight chicane that's a great place to practice your agility. There's only so much fun that can be had here so I'd recommend paying a visit on the way to another, more substantial spot such as Bazehill Road (see my review.)

Pinetum is a really beautiful place of nature in Kent. It was somewhere I visited as a child and…read morehave revisited as an adult, and it's still as nice as ever. It has lots of tall pine trees, colourful rhododendrons and beautiful greenery. This place is full of life and beauty and I love going here to soak up and enjoy all that nature energy. There are lots of twists and turns here as you walk through, making the park interesting. Pinetum is a good place for nature lovers, families wanting a day out, people wanting to give their dog a bit of an adventure (although they have to be kept on a lead). A lovely lovely place and well worth a visit.

I come her regularly to take my toddler daughter to might mites, a soft play session in the sports hall. It costs £3.70 for a session and parents can sit at tables available and order drinks and even a cooked breakfast from the cafe. Great if you want to have a chat and amuse the children. The gym overlooks the sports hall and looks well used. Situated just off the A27 and next to Manor Park its very accessible to anyone living in Lancing, Worthing, Shoreham and surrounding areas.

I use the gym regularly which is clean and has lots of machines (although it could do with a Smith machine and can sometimes get a bit chavvy after work in the evenings) and i regularly attend circuit training with Dan who is more like a boot camp trainer but his class is great fun and because of his motivation to work harder I have lost around 6% of my body fat in just 8 weeks!

The zip wires were ok - no tremendously scary ones 4. there was a massive queue at the last one, all just waiting to go on the last tarzan swing... this always seems to happen, this is a problem, and a dull one. 5. The staff were ok - a mixture of happy and going through the motions. 6. it wasn't as well signed as others I've been to. 7. I would have prefered a few more really hard ones that were balance related rather than brute force. 8. The instructor neglected to tell people NOT to hold onto the wire. And didn't point out the 'how to do it sign' which meant my whole group cheated by holding the wire most of the time. I do love Go -Ape but i've done it a few times (4 times) over 7 years, and i think they need a bit more variety on the problems as it's getting a bit samey. Great location, lovely service, just not as good as the others.

I've only used the gym and the pool so my review is specific only to those facilities…read more The pool is a little chilly, as others have said, however it isn't a spa pool, it's a swimming pool, so it's going to be chilly and the point is that you swim to warm up. The pool area and changing rooms are broadly clean, with enough locker space. The gym is pretty well equipped, but at its busy times you will struggle to find usable machines and equipment. The users aren't very good at replacing equipment so you can spend a while looking around for certain weights. And the rules regarding not taking in coats and bags aren't enforced, so finding mat space, for example, can become difficult and you end up having to shove some strangers bag to the side because you can't find the owner. Without wanting to sound like I'm young-person-bashing, the after school groups seem to use the gym more as a hang-out, and people of all ages don't seem to have developed the gym etiquette you find in other places regarding being sat on equipment looking at your phone for prolonged periods, denying the equipment to others. The student groups also tend to leave a lot of their belongings scattered in the changing rooms instead of using the lockers which are plentiful. The staff are very friendly, but it would be preferable if they enforced some of the rules & policies. And as a minor criticism I'd prefer lockers you can padlock instead of needing a £1 coin. Overall, it's fine if you're not a core-hours user - it would definitely be better if the policies were enforced, but if you're someone trying to do some exercise after work, particularly in term-time, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been a member of the centre for more years than I care to mention. The facilities are great…read moreand they have a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities. My biggest complaint would be the swimming pool changing rooms which are way too hot. Also there is occassionally a problem with the heating of the learner pool, but when you complain you get told that it is within regulations. When childrens lips are going blue in the lessons, I would say it is too cold despite what the regulations say.
