I guess because it's meant to be one of Australia's strongest home grown brands and it's meant to represent Aussies love for beach lifestyle and apparel. Whatever it is, it fits well in this airport. The shop itself is quite big and I was surprised at how much Billabong clothing and merchandise there is. There's apparel, accessories, assorted beach stuff like towels, boards and Billabong branded suncream... And of course, plenty more.

I don't think the accessories here are of really high quality, but for random day-to-day use, it is worth buying up here. As trends change fast these days, so does the merchandise in this store. This is a good thing! They don't necessarily just get rid of the older stock, it will just fizzle and then there's a sale and then... BOOM! New hot smack bang in the front and centre of the store. Luring all who dare to get tempted, through its doors. I am more than happy for this store to tempt me. They have such a great range of dress-up accessories and best of all, they are cheap. Not cheap in an nasty way, far from it. The jewellery and bags sold here are of the latest trends and fashion, just done at wonderfully welcoming prices. Easy on the wallet and easy on the eye! I would describe this store a bit like a Topshop. It attracts a market of trendy, young and hip peeps. What I would hate to see happen is this store turn into a Diva. Ick. But I doubt that will happen. The store layout is great and ambience created by the dim lighting and the darker paint shades really sets it apart from the Diva's and other tacky accessories store.

They have great prices and great quality stuff. Out of all the times i have been here i dont think i have ever walked out empty handed. I only just the other day walked out with a fantastac large handbag and nice rope chain bracelet and only paid $35 all up. You tell me where you can go with a great bargain like that. Not only that but the girls that work there i find always to be really friendly and welcoming and never pushy. They are happy to help but if you just want to look on your own they let you be I love that in a store. I will continue going here. I love this store.

Ily is the sister store of Leaf, next door. They have a similar vibe. Leaf specializes in smart casual wear (picture the people getting off the cruise ship), ily have clothing more targeted for younger women. They style is fun, a little quirky and colourful. Think patterns, colours and fabrics. I really like their range of accessories too. You can pick up a whole outfit, complete with bag, jewellery and heels. They stock some fantastic brands like Blessed are the Meek, Living Doll and August st. I really like the layout of the shop itself too and the staff are really nice.

It's a little challenging trying on shoes, especially, when women flock here on their lunch break to feed their shopping craves. So try and visit on non peak time like after 10am but before lunch, or after lunch but before 5pm. Despite this, I still love it here. The girls who work here are so nice. Even when it's busy they make sure to get to everyone and help. Customer service is very important in shoe shops, because most times you want to try on different sizes, different colour, different styles and that's what they're here to help with. The clothes here range from cute 50's silhouettes and prints (Think polka-dot, bows, pleats and peter pan collars.) and are pretty reasonably priced all things considered. (Between $40-60 ain't too shabby.) ...The ace in their deck however, has to be their range of unique, odd and very cute home wares and accessories. ( I admit that this may be one of the sole reasons for me coming here.) And while the newly expanded store size makes the shop seem a bit more bare than before, I'm sure it's not long before they manage to cook up some more amazing wares to wedge on the shelves. The sales ladies I've encountered here have been exceptionally lovely (and were more than tolerant of my aimless pursuing.) And it's location in the chermside megaplex makes for a more than convenient shopping pitstop.

This recently opened Valley store is one great handsome space. The industrial/loft kinda warehouse is more than roomy and the bare walls create a gallery type feel to the fabrics on display. As the name suggests these guys offer an extensive range of quality textiles, they place a strong focus on natural fibers but you can find anything from silk chiffons, georgettes, leather hides and linen to Japanese cottons, merino knits, organic fabrics and much much more. With stores in Melbourne, Sydney and NZ you know you're in good hands, But be sure to check out their detailed fabric descriptions online and compile a list before you head instore. This store isn't as big as the Salvos around the corner and doesn't sell furniture, but has a good range of clothing and shoes, as well as book and accessories. There's always a bargain rack out the front to grab your attention as you walk by.
