The doctor I saw on the first visit was Dr R Kadakia. He was concerned and was able to schedule all of my tests for the very next week. The outstanding part of this practice is they invested in a Pet Scanner for the office. This cuts testing time down to two hours with no waiting in between tests. Pictures are much better. The Pet Scanner Tech Kirk was outstanding. He did everything he could to make the experience the best. I have been doing these tests every year since 1997. So I have several techs to make the comparison against. When I say Kirk is the best that is saying something. Lien was the Echo Tech and she too was outstanding. Everyone in this office is caring and considerate from the front desk all the way to the back. As a Critical Care Nurse for more than three decades and coming from our Medical Center. Came here for an Echo test and the wait time is/was horrible. For the life of me I don't understand…read morewhy when you go to these medical centers why do you have to wait so long. Is there a shortage in the healthcare field. But when you finally get to the back the visit is short make it make sense. The receptionist had me standing almost 10 minutes until a doctor told her I've been waiting to check in the whole vibe and setting was off. This is not my first visit a couple of weeks was my first time visiting and it was the same thing. I wonder if this is what the quality of care would be like if I had to have something major done. It's just not the same anymore the quality of healthcare has gone done the drain.

I've had to come for a stress test and a PET scan I've also had a few follow up appointments after an angiogram. EVERY single time I've come here it's been a problem with scheduling, overbooking, long waits 1hr plus in the waiting room, lack of insurance verification by no fault of my own, not my PCP, nor my insurance... These people are so unorganized it's infuriating One of the front receptionist literally told her that her leadership told them they couldn't call patients to update them that they don't have everything they need, they would rather the patient come in and rush to try and get paperwork in order instead of taking care of it before the patient gets in the office Or even telling the patient that they would need to reschedule, a show of respect for the patients time These people are ridiculous!!! I hate coming here. I'm currently working with my PCP to find another cardiologist .

The doctor(Dr Mammen) has a very calming bedside manner and he's very knowledgeable about his specialty. The medical assistants have been courteous and professional. The nurses and nurse practitioners have been courteous and professional as well. However, I was disappointed that I could not accompany my husband for some of his testing, especially since one was for an echocardiogram. Since I am a retired RN, I understand that some technicians are uncomfortable with the presence of family members during tests but I think that allowances should be made for a family member to be present as long as there is no danger posed. Another issue was in scheduling an appointment. There was much miscommunication between our PCP's office and the Cardiologist's office before we could even schedule an appointment. That was troubling.

I want to say straight away that in 10 years in USA I have never met a top notch professional with a "heart" as him! He represents -in my opinion-the prefect synthesis of an highly scientifically skilled and brilliant cardiologist and the compassionate professional whose only interest is the patient's well being! I have been suffering from high blood pressure since I was in my 20s ( about 20yrs) and have not taken care of it the proper way for a long time. Although normally asymptomatic, that night... perhaps a long period of stress, insomnia, a move to another state on the way etc... I fainted a couple of times and started feeling chest pain and other symptoms possibly correlated to my high blood pressure. Long story short, I went to ER and my BP was sky rocketing .... I spent the night there and after multiple EKG they detected a potential anomaly. Dr. Ali came to my bed and visited me reassured me ... beside, we had a great pleasant/informal conversation. I realized I had a highly skilled professional with one interest : my wellbeing. I went to the appoint. to perform additional tests to rule out potential cardiac issues and to my great relief he communicated me that not only I did not have a heart attack that night but my heart was in great shape. My problem was only the high BP. He found quickly the best treatment for me and although I moved out of state he continued taking care of my health! He wants the best for you as an individual person, not a statistic, not a number, not a "this is what all heart patients should do". Beyond that, he is incredibly technically skilled and keeps up-to-date on every new advance in cardiac care. He recently went out on his own and the facility is really nice. He can do most testing in house. His new staff is WONDERFUL.
