Know what you are getting into. It is a young crowd, which is both a positive and a negative. Negative in that they lack experience, training, wisdom, etc. Daughter attended a Focus weekend camp where they unwisely pitted boys against girls. What do you think will happen against a group of immature high school knuckleheads? No wisdom shown there. She ended up with a concussion, but no call was ever placed to her parents ( emergency contacts) despite the youth pastor having witnessed the entire event. No wisdom shown there either. They often state that they are a group of imperfect people worshipping a perfect God. No arguments there, but prefer to worship where they are equally concerned about my physical being and not just my spiritual. read more

Great teaching and awareness music. Good blend of older and young adults worshiping together. Very warm and friendly group.

I was harassed, stalk and followed to my car because, I told a couple staffers that I disagree with the message today hearing about Jesus pain and he rose from the dead and his scars. I said, I am not convinced. I have been homeless for over 10 years living in my car. All I hear in church is human suffering, wars, murders, human sacrifice. What about my suffering? I am sick of being homeless. I am sick being compared to Job, Joseph and how Jesus suffered. There are days I don't want to live and God & Jesus abandoned me. This man said what is your name Job? I said, my name is not Job. He says, you going to cop an attitude you have a problem with the church leave. He was the one who had an attitude. I said, I am leaving and not coming back. These two staffers followed me to the end of the parking lot and I stop and said, I am leaving. I am not coming back as they kept following took & pictures. And you call yourself a family of imperfect people. read more
