These teachers work very hard to make sure the students get their grades when a student does what is expected and turn in their assignments when they are due. One cannot expect immediate satisfaction when assignments are turned in late. We must be patient and let these teachers do their jobs. We must support our teachers in order for our students to succeed. Let them do what they are trained to day and you will see the changes in your student if they do what's expected. Keep up the good work Rowe! You are doing an awesome job. I can see the progress my son has made. Now that he has matured and understands what is required to succeed, he strives to make honor roll every grading period. However, on this particular check in, I was attending an event on a Saturday to watch my niece sing. It was a community event called a Fall Festival where different groups were performing from neighboring schools. That's all well and good, but there was no signage outside telling people the exact location to come in and buy tickets. From observation (and a text from a family member) assisted me in finding the right entry to the event. Inside, there isn't much signage to direct one to different parts of the school. You know how in stores they have arrows pointing you in the direction of a location (i.e. restroom, gym, cafeteria)? Not here. Would have been helpful. Once again, observation led me to the direction of the outdoor event, which I missed by a longshot because I was told my niece's performance would last from 11:30-12 and I still missed it even though I arrived by 11:45 :/ In all honesty, that comment was directed towards the organizers of the event who charged $2 for entry, but to host the festival at a place that lacks signage is not good. I can imagine some new kid trying to find classes on the first day becoming extremely overwhelmed by a place like this. I'm sure it's a great school, just had a doughy brained designer!
