History
Established in 1962.
Built in 1962, the Cyprianerhof hotel started with 12 rooms and was run by our parents, Luis and Inge Damian. In 1985 we, Margreth and Martin Damian, took over the management of the hotel. After just a few years we decided to go for an environmentally friendly management and in 1988 we were awarded the Tyrol/South Tyrol Ecolabel.
In 1995, together with other hiking enthusiasts from South Tyrol and Austria, we set up the community "Europa Wanderhotels".
In 1997 our first major extension began: in that year the first woodchip system was installed, which was followed by the second one in 2008. In both projects, natural materials from the region have been used and local construction companies worked, as it was also the case in the last major renovation in 2016. The next step came with 'Climahotel' certification.
During the renovation in 2022, the original building was renovated and a 223KW photovoltaic system was installed on the roofs of the structure.
