The seafood was so incredibly fresh and delicious, it is the absolute best seafood we have ever eaten. And we are hard core "foodies". Our waiter was the most charming young man, he spoke excellent English and was very well educated in wines. We got a wonderful bottle of wine to go with our meal. We sat in the patio and had the most romantic evening, warm breeze, not crowded, good music playlist and just amazing food. These were by far the absolute best mussels we have every had...and definitely the best mussels we had during our two week trip to France. Both dishes were full of great flavor and were super delicious. The mussels were not tough at all and even though the serving was quite large, we devoured them all! We were actually quite surprised to see how large the serving was, especially for the price which was very affordable and probably the best price we saw for mussels during our visit as well. Our meal also came with a side of fries...which were also perfect! The staff was very friendly and attentive and we also used the restroom, which was inside the actual restaurant. The inside was very nice as well and the bathroom was very clean. Our only negative would be the table situation. As you can see from the pictures, the dishes were quite large. When you add drinks, bread and side of fries for each of us the table was quite cramped. Of course, the meal made up for it and we really enjoyed our experience at Chez Regis. I was on a hunt for Belon oysters, something that I haven't been able to find in the US. I was very happy to see that the board in front said they had belons. We created our own seafood platter which consisted on belons, fines de claires , uni, langostines, some sort of snail that I forgot that name of and a few others, and paired it with some champagne. The oysters were fresh, but not nearly as large as I had hoped. At first, we were wowed by the huge platter of seafood in front of us, but in the end we were quite disappointed. Everything came out of the refrigerator. There isn't anything special about any of the crustaceans since none of them were flavored, just boiled, chilled and served. Had we know that, we probably would have skipped the place. On top of everything, the fiance got terrible food posioning that night.

However it was well worth the expedition because the food was outstanding. The Service was attentive and exceptional. The declination of salt and pepper on the bavette blew our mind. The Pea purée velouté with Bresaola was creative and light. The trout wrap was light and fresh. The strawberry bowl with yogurt ice cream was transcending.
