This is mostly a take-away…read morespot, aside from the main ordering counter/pasty display and the counter with coffee condiments and pre-packaged cookies/pastries, there's only room for standing space to line up inside. There are about a dozen seats available at 4 bar height small tables set up on the sidewalk directly outside the bakery/cafe. You have to keep an eye out for an opening or wait until people leave. They have standard coffee options and pastries/cakes/biscuits at a reasonable price. All the items looked fresh and the line was pretty consistent the entire duration I was there, for a bout 20 minutes. Being a couple blocks away from the duomo means constant foot traffic and they were hustling to keep up. After eating the staff bused the tables so it was a constant back and forth for them to clean up. I only had a croissant with jam here--the croissant itself was ok, not the best or worst, a fair amount of jam for the amount of pastry. The staff recommended the almond pastry cream cake saying "it's the most delicious cake you'll eat in Italy" and visually it looked appealing but it was kinda early in the morning before lunch so I passed up that opportunity. Hopefully someone else can try this and write a review to verify the results of that claim! Also a note on English--basic convos were no prob, when I started to ask about some of the ingredients that got a bit harder to communicate (due to my non-existent Italian) though the staff was very friendly and kind and tried to help!

Amazing people, they display Italian hospitality to the max! Very cordial, respectful and tended all out little wishes, We wanted the Beef cotoletta with risotto and they made it happen. Their menu is a suggestion, if you want them to change one or other thing for you they will, even if it is not in the menu and they can make it they will! Amazing place right in front of the Duomo, you can take so many pictures of the Duomo, either in the morning or the afternoon, this is just such a joy! The place serves excellent food, really delicious treats and has food for everyone, If you are vegan, or need to be gluten free, or have a food allergy they will tend to that need for you, it is quite a place and they are very good at taking care of you, they have inside service and outdoor service (to my liking I rather being outside) you get the beautiful view of the Duomo in Milano and the many stores around it. You can just walk in or make a reservation. They guys Antonio, Marco (Napoli), Javier & Jenny are amazing. The second day we were in Milano we decided to come back with them again and it was even better than the first time! I did remember not to eat Pizza with Balsamico (that is a no no) and also my wife and I tried something very unique that is only from Milano and is part of the Milanese culture. We tried for the first time in Italia (Milan) Sambuca Molinari & Amaro del Capo "this was AMAZING" right after your dinner is what you do and man! I gotta tell you it was GOOOOOOOD!!! real good. I never tried it anywhere else and Antonio sent it to us so we can try it Javier brought it to us. By the way, they speak perfect Spanish and English. Coming to this restaurant not only made my day, it made our whole entire Italian trip super special and the next year when we come back to Milano we will be back visiting The Crew and Antonio. Service is slow, but the menu is solid, and they also have a full bar, which makes it easy to stop for either food, drinks, or both. The food surprised me in a good way. The ossobuco with risotto was genuinely delicious and comforting, though the lamb portion was a bit smaller than what the menu photo promised. That said, the tagliatelle alla bolognese absolutely stole the show. I inhaled it like a madman. Not a bad move if you want a reliable meal with a front-row seat to one of the most iconic views in Milan. Also, a little pricey for the portion size, in my opinion.
