We had then come out and give us a quote for some work on the front yard of a home we just bought. The quote was steep. 6k for some topsoil and grass seed to be laid, storm drain rerouted further down away from the house, the prior owners landscaping to be removed and new river rock to be laid directly in front of the patio area. They said they could start that day, they'd return to finish the next day, and then have it all complete. We ,unfortunately, caved and agreed. They packed up that night after the first day and never returned to finish. The storm drain was laid incorrectly and not even remotely close to where it was discussed to have been placed. The topsoil They spread in the front was barely even noticeable. To the point here we are,six weeks later with NO new growth even tho we've followed all instructions as far as watering and such. The ONLY thing they did right was the river rock. We reached out to the owner, Miguel, several times about the incomplete, unprofessional work that was done on our property to see about reaching a resolution since it was already completely paid for by us. When he decided to reach back out, we were met with empty promises and resistance. Miguel promised many times to come back and lay new topsoil and seed Miguel promised several times to come back and fix the storm drain (claiming he had no part in the blame since it was his coworker doing that part). We gave Miguel so many chances,opportunities, and weeks of time to come correct his mistakes and complete the work we already paid for. We were met with excuse after excuse as to why he didn't show up on the days he said he would. Mind you, Miguel NEVER communicated that he wouldnt be able to make it. We had to message or call him after the times he said he would be there just to find out why he didn't show. I have photo evidence of the poor work as well as the conversations of him dodging responsibility and not communicating but ultimately owning up that he did a bad job. Miguel and MA Landscaping and Tree Service are UNPROFESSIONAL UNRELIABLE TERRIBLE COMMUNICATORS SHADY POORLY MANAGED. Please save your own time and headache and go with ANYONE else. It was a complete waste of time and money using this company.
