A representative of CCPM had previously contacted me about utilizing their services in response to a rental ad, so I got a hold of them. Within just a few days of signing papers with them, I was informed by a friend that one of their employees had been talking about me (with someone who happened to know me and did NOT work for them at all) and how "stupid" I was for trying to rent the place on my own to begin with, and gossiping about details of the initial lease from before they took over.
