Nearly nine years later, I finally found a dentist who took my concerns seriously and referred me to an endodontist. The specialist confirmed that the original root canal had failed they missed a canal. It had been overfilled, which caused a pocket in my jaw that repeatedly became infected. For years, I was dealing with chronic infections, with my mouth flaring up every month or so, and no one acknowledging the real cause. The dentist who performed the procedure claimed to be a specialist, but based on the outcome, the quality of work was unacceptable. This wasn't just a minor issue--it led to long-term damage and significant health complications. I've dealt with chronic inflammation, recurring infections, and even hospital visits due to blood infections that were never properly traced back to the source at the time. I paid for professional care and trusted this office, and after 4 hours in a chair and thousands later in return, I was left dealing with the consequences of a failed procedure that no one would take responsibility for. It took nearly a decade to finally get a clear diagnosis and validation of what I had been experiencing the entire time.(keep in mind I couldn't live on antibiotics either so no medication to heal it or prevent infection or I'd end up immune to them if I did) I would strongly caution others to seek second opinions and ensure they are getting proper care, because my experience here resulted in years of unnecessary pain and avoidable health issues. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. She gave me good directions on where their parkade and visitor parking was. I found their office to be clean and modern with comfortable seating. They had me fill out a patient history form on an iPad which I thought was very techy and also environmental friendly. The dental hygienist that worked with me that day was very professional and friendly. She took numerous x-rays and photos of my teeth. She made me feel at ease and explained everything that she was doing. She was very gentle and answered all my questions which I appreciated! After examination by Dr. Buchowsky, I found out I needed to be referred to a periodontist. The referral appointment was set up at my 2nd appointment by the receptionist. I asked her if my dental plan would cover the referral and she said she didn't know. She told me that I had to find out on my own. With my previous dentist's office, they had always made sure I knew what was covered and what wasn't based on my group policy. It was not busy at the front desk (2 receptionist staff) so I had asked the receptionist to call the periodontist's office to find out from them what would be covered and she did not look the least bit pleased but did it anyways. It turned out that the visit would not be covered under my plan. Knowing this information ahead of time would be helpful so I could at least know what I would be in for. I think many dental offices can money grab from their clients with all the different codes they put in for claims (as per CBC documentary/expose that I saw a few years ago). I think being informed with costs and what services would be provided are all great questions to ask. I felt that the reception staff did not go above and beyond to meet those needs and for the amount of money I spent, I am somewhat a little disappointed hence the 3 stars. I liked my new dentist and her hygienists very much and I hope I will be able to change this review.

Dr.Hadeel Al-bazzaz was able to keep my son calm and get the x-rays. We just went for our third cavity to get fixed. Before going I asked my son what he thought. He said he's not scared of the dentist. This kid is scared or nervous of almost everything. While we were there I can see why. They are always playing games to distract him. I drove an hour and a half so my son has the best care. I believe it is important to keep giving him positive experience with the dentist. So he isn't nervous like me when it's my turn to go. If I could give this clinic and this doctor more stars I definitely would! I also always get a call to check on the kids after they get a procedure for anything more then a cleaning. I would definitely recommend both of them. I have a very low tolerance to tooth pain, which makes me very anxious going to the dentist. They assured me that it will be painless (which it was) and explained to me everything that I need to know.
