Ultimately, ACA was once considered the best bang-for-your-buck yard-work service that you paid a little more for than the budget priced guys but got really quality work. Over the last few years, they've increased their prices exponentially and decreased their quality. I recognize the prices of things have gone up in recent years but there's no excuse for the terrible service. I scheduled them for a (over-priced) yard clean-up with 5 yards of mulch. Their office location repeatedly rescheduled it without informing us and I had to hound them to get answers about the availability. Eventually, the person I was speaking with even admitted they had no clue when they'd come out. Terrible communication / management that impacted what day my wife would go into the office that week. The actual work done was sub-par as well. Three folks showed up and made a really poor effort to remove weeds, leaving a ton behind, and then sloppily threw mulch on top of them, scattering it all over my yard as well. What a pain the next time a mowed the lawn! They tore out three completely healthy rosemary bushes that I used on a regular basis and completely mangled a rose bush that was a gift from my wife's grandfather before he passed away. The edging was poor and sloppy and they didn't ask anything of us. Ultimately, they got the job done and they did it on a short timeline because of rain last week having pushed the date and that's the primary reason why they got 2 stars instead of 1; but I don't know that I'll ever use them again.

He was very polite and quick to follow up my voice mail that I had left. He sent his crew out and got all the trees removed and stumps taken care of in one day and that following day his crew was back to remove all the stump grindings and remove and level out the garden beds and then sodded them and made it look perfect with my existing lawn. Since then, I have had Danny and his team out to install a full-frontal landscape design and a flagstone patio. Now i have them out installing landscape lighting. I would highly recommend Looking Sharpe Landscapes. There's no project they can't handle.

Received 3 site visits from Jonathan over the final year. The estimate for repair work was vague and required me hammering out a scope of work for the quoted fixed cost. Received the final site visit one day before the repair work, which was then completed nicely. Days later, received an invoice for 150% of the quote with no explanation. When I balked, Jonathan said that it was not a fixed-cost event (it was), further degradation may have occurred since the site was last visited (24 hours earlier) and he did not know how long the work would take until it was completed (after 3 site visits). After a well documented summary accounting of phone conversations, e-mails and site visits submitted to the company owner, the original quote was honored. Yet the owner never replied to or attempted to contact me regarding the negative experience. Again, years ago, great experience. More recently, very shifty. Be prepared to document everything and advocate for yourself. But that battle is "Time & Material" on your part...

This summer (2018), the service got so bad that they had to subcontract out to another company. This company "expertly" cut my lawn down all the to the soil in several places, mowed the overall lawn so short that it dried up and burned, and spilled gasoline in several places when refuelling their equipment. When speaking with the owner, Chris, it is always one excuse after another. I finally resolved to cancel my service only to be charged a duplicate invoice right after notification of my intent to cancel. This was three days after paying the prior invoice *and* despite no service being performed in that three day window. When requesting documentation to clarify the double bill, the owner simply replied "I was there and I saw it done" then threatened legal action. Hogwash. In summary: bad service, bad manager, bad experience. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional lawn care provider.

We will have to pay to have the tree cut down and the stump removed. Not to mention that will make our front yard unsightly. Also, when adding compost to our lawn at the end of summer, their crew added the compost so thick that it actually killed the grass in many areas. We now how many bare patches in our lawn. Then, LawnBoy did our fall cleanup when 90% of the leaves were on the trees. So, now after my husband and I have paid 2k+ for their services, we have a dying tree, a lawn with many bare spots and a yard full of leaves that we cleaned up ourselves. Don't waste your time or money with this company because they will not try to make it right when they do wrong.

They were reliable, timely, respectful and I honestly feel they went above and beyond. The new (HUGE) patio looks absolutely gorgeous. The retaining wall, steps, and even the new bushes Dave selected for our mulch beds frame the pool SO nicely. They also figured out a gorgeous drainage solution for our problematic swell. It melts perfectly into the scheme of the entire backyard. It is apparent that their work is performed accordingly to a perfectionist's viewpoint.
