Was a customer with the original company for many years with no incident. On the change it took a while for change in bank details to come through. On top of that my bank was a tad slow on making the change at their end. Upshot is that £16 was erroneously paid to the old company. I see no sign of a refund in my bank statements. The new company, although very closely aligned to the old, has been very politely chasing me for money already paid.
Today I said to send the man round when he was next in the area and I would give him £16, which I do not feel I owe. I have also told D and G I no longer want them to clean my windows. For the sake of £16 they have lost a long time customer who always pays. Not it seemed, from their manner on the phone that they much cared.
