I prepaid Dave for six months of monthly pest control service, but the service I received was extremely disappointing. On his first visit, he did not spray my backyard, even though I had specifically told him that gnats were biting my dogs' ears. I even sent him a video showing my dogs' ears twitching because of the bites. After repeated requests, he eventually returned and sprayed the backyard. He was supposed to come back in July for my monthly service, but he ignored my phone calls and text messages. When I finally told him I would seek a refund and pursue legal action if necessary, he came to my house that day. During that visit, my security cameras recorded him spraying my patio, pool, back door, hot tub, retaining wall, and even my butterfly bushes--but he never sprayed the backyard. He also failed to spray the side yard. When I confronted him, he admitted he had not sprayed the side yard but insisted he had sprayed the backyard. Instead of treating the backyard after I questioned him, he rolled up his hose and left. During our conversation, he also raised his voice, called me "crazy" and a "madman," and asked, "What is wrong with you?" This was not the first time he had spoken to me that way. I prepaid for six months of service, received only one scheduled treatment, and had to repeatedly ask him to address the areas that needed treatment most. I want to clarify this review is for D&G pest control located at 19318 Leitersburg Pike Hagerstown. Wasp/Yellow Jacket infestation under my siding. Owner? arrived onsite and could not get his powder injection device to work and asked me for a coat hanger to unclog it but no go. He then what I assumed was to spray water on them?. 30 day guarantee and promised to come back, that was 2 months ago. I'm out $175.00 and nothing but silence on multiple reach outs. I was suckered by a lame company. Avoid at all cost. If this reviews outcome is resolved, I'll remove it. read more

Dave is extremely courteous, professional and does quality work. took the time to survey first what needs done. explains and then gets the job done. we had the big wood carving bees and he knocked em out. he did say to give him a call if need be . this is the second time we have used him and we highly recommend him ! read more

Dave is the absolute best!!! He was here the first day I called and treated my wall in basement for the termites that I found. Came back that weekend to treat the perimeter of the house. We had a duck with eggs living in our flower bed up against the house so Dave couldn't treat that area until she moved. He came out the very next day and finished the job when I called and told him the duck had finally moved on. Very very friendly and would highly recommend to everyone. We asked Dave, the owner, to come see if the bugs found in my Dads house were termites or not. (He came with a bad attitude and we weren't sure why.) He said they were and preceded to state his course of treatment. When my husband asked if it was possible to go through the walls and not the floors to treat the termites, he threw up his a hands and said, "If you know everything, do it yourself!" My husband, who is is literally the nicest person you'll ever meet said, "I don't know about treating termites I'm just asking questions." Then, my step-mother asked a question he pointed at my husband and said, "Ask him since he knows everything!" Dave did eventually apologize (after realizing that my husband was a veteran, we think) and since he quoted us a good price and we wanted the money to go to a locally owned business we arranged for him to come back today to start treatment. 10 minutes before the appointment, Sherry left a voicemail that they were not coming out "due to the issues yesterday." You mean, the problem that we decided to give your company the benefit of the doubt even though Dave was nasty. Shame on you for treating people this way! read more

I've had D&G out to my home twice, once for a cleanup following a bat infestation and once for a carpenter ant issue. They are very responsive, even offering to come out the same day I called. The work was thorough and done promptly. We talked about what to look out for in the future to catch issues faster. I appreciate that Dave understands old houses (I live in a very old log cabin structure). He was very courteous and professional both times. He has also done work for my parents, who recommended him to me. I've found the prices to be very reasonable, both for the larger and the smaller job. read more

Was waiting for him to come out. He called to check address. Day before he said he would charge was I paid last year was advising him what the receipt said and asking if that was ok He just blurts out "Find someone else" All I wanted was to verify the price so I had the money. Total ass!! Very disrespectful and unprofessional to get all pist off cause I wanted to know how much I was supposed to pay, that's all I asked Judt beware He will turn on you for nothing read more

We had yellow jackets get in the house about 100 around the front door. Called them after normal business hours and they showed up less than an hour later. They took care of the insects and repaired the holes they got in through. Wonderful work read more
