D&S is a hot mess. There is high staff turnover with low pay and extreme burnout. My sister was there for 6 years and it was on a continuous decline. The absolute minimum is done in every facet of this organization. I removed my sister after she went to the hospital, twice in two weeks, on neglect charges. No one called, admitted wrong doing (they forgot to latch her wheelchair down in the van and she fell on her head) or called to check on her. Adult Protective Services was constantly checking in on the staff and conditions. DO NOT place your loved one in their care or work for this company. read more
