I've been using this car wash for many many years. I've tried many other and none are as good. I always try to go when it's quieter as they have more time to spend on your car. Like any service business they want to keep the queues as short as possible. Boss man is great and will always check the quality of work. He will also take on board comments. Yes it's not perfect but nothing and no one is. It can't be far off or the Chelsea team wouldn't bring their cars over. read more

OK, I have to confess that I'm not the world's most diligent when it comes to washing my car. Especially in the colder winter months. That's why I love D&T Hand Car Wash. It's so satisfying to see 20 people descend on your car and attack it with a variety of high pressure hoses, sprays, vacuums, cleaning cloths and brushes and to drive out with a gleaming car after 15 minutes. It costs £8 for just the outside of my Focus or £14 for getting the interior done as well. The boss is on the final station and has high standards, often summoning some of his workers back to do any spots that he finds which aren't up to scratch. read more

Disappointed... we pointed out to the manager that there were smears and dirt inside and out.. he was very aggressive and said if we want a better job we would have to pay £200 for a valet clean. He then got very aggressive and said go and don't come back. My daughter paid £27 for the red service. read more

Had a bad experience a few years ago with the manager being rude when I pointed out that a part of the car hadn't been wiped properly. Then decided to get an outside wash blue service today and ive them another go. Wish I hadn't, tried to over charge me for a large car when I drive a hatchback and because I refused to pay the extra they didn't finish the job. I ended up going in to tesco car park and drying it and wiping it down myself. Dirt still present no attention to detail. Will never go back again no more chances. Rude rude rude read more

Had my sat nav stolen by the staff today.... police were called and attended immediately, but boss unfortunately covered for staff so police were only able to search two people....interesting if the boss really thought they were innocent..... police sure it was onsite but no ability to search given the boss' statement.... read more

Took a huge chunk out of brand new windscreen wipers and just threw it in front of me. Charged me extra for a bit of dog hair in the boot. Rude manager. Previously been going here for years but quality and customer service has gone down while prices have gone way up. read more

Really rude manager. Overcharged by £10 because it was a little dirty. It was the same like the last 10 times I had brought it! Would not recommend at all. They do a good job but has got worse overtime and now making up prices as they go along. Avoid as other alternatives are better! read more

A really quick and efficient service, I had the red service so inside done too and it was great, seeing all those people attend to my car so quickly and efficiently it felt like an F1 pit stop! Only £15 too, the boss at the end getting people to come back if he spotted a bit that had been missed made even better. read more

They scratched my car! A big scratch on the back wing and a couple of less obvious ones on the door! Now I understand why they say in the entrance that they will not accept responsibility for any damage they cause; this is totally unacceptable. Yes, it was 10 people working on my car but it felt more like slam, bang, thank you, ma'am. I'm sorry but this was a rush job. It was my first and last time there. read more

Fantastic service - friendly guys. Couldn't recommend them more highly. They can make the worst car look good - and I know!!! Prices are good too - £14 for an in and out valet - fantastic. I've paid so called 'professionals' many times more than that in the past for a job that wasn't as good. Avoid lunchtimes though if the weather is good - the queues are out of the road! read more

My car was subjected to acid by disinterested staff. The mits were dirty and one staff member hit my car with a lance. The quality check was a man more interested in me paying than listening to my concerns. Won't be going there again read more

If only this were true today, yes you have people descend on your car, all with miserable expressions. I have been using this car wash since it started and was a big fan taking all of the family cars there including some v expensive ones, but over time attitudes have changed. For a while now I have been increasingly unhappy with the end result. The prices have gone up and that is okay if the job is done properly. The last resort was yesterday, I have a convertible, I asked at the first opportunity if the back shelf that is only exposed when the roof is down could be cleaned also. The women at the dry off stage told me to put the roof down. On reaching the final stage with the roof not having been put back up I asked the co owner "do you want me to put the roof up, no "was the reply. By his tone I knew he wasn't joking so I pointed out that I wanted all the car cleaned. With attitude he told me to put the roof down and said I had not paid for a FULL VALET and in future they would clean with the roof up or down not both. Are you Kidding!!!!!!!. I reminded him that we had been bringing cars to him for years, So, he said and walked away. So much for loyalty to your customer, bearing in mind we pay full rate for every car which is now £15 a go. I had the first chance to look at my car properly today and every tyre rim is filthy. My boot has not been hoovered (not the first time) and a minor dent on the runner where one of these people dropped the polish can on it. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH IF YOU WANT VALUE FOR MONEY AND EVEN A MINOR LEVEL OF COURTESY. Again I will point out I was a loyal customer for years, despite problems that I chose to ignore, but these people are getting too big for their boots, and I intend taking my business elsewhere. As I know that there are other businesses that value their customers and deliver what they are being paid for. read more
