Oh boy. Where to even begin??…read more I started coming to CF Novi almost 5 months ago and have been completely and utterly blown away by the impact this gym has had on my health and well-being. I had no prior athletic experience when I started coming to CrossFit Novi and when I would go to the gym I wouldn't stray further than the treadmill. The coaches here made me feel 100% comfortable and at home immediatly. They spent a TON of time, care, and attention teaching me the basics and have been great about scaling/customizing the workouts to my level. I cannot stress enough just how great these coaches are. With their help so far I've lost 30 pounds and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, strength, & new skills (hoorayyyy wall kick ups and double-unders ). Their patience and possitivity has been outstanding. Other perks - The box is big, beautiful, and super clean, they have showers, & the people who go here are all extremely pleasant. I ended up going twice and I was extremely pleased both times. The coaching was very good and diverse. We had an olympic complex WOD that was coached by an oly-trained coach. He even spent time with me after at my request to break down my form a little bit. I felt very welcomed by both owners and the membership there. It's clean, organized and the attention to form was appreciated. I highly recommend.

Be cautious if you end up needing to cancel personal training. I read through the cancellation…read morerequirements and went in person to state that I needed to cancel and the man behind the desk looked at me like I was stupid and refused to cancel it telling me "you need to discuss this with your trainer". I then explained to the trainer who of course used what she knew about me to convince me to just reduce my sessions instead of canceling which is what I really needed to do. Suffice to say it was a lot of money down the drain. Then when I finally canceled they attempted multiple times to continue to charge me which I had to argue with them about. Don't let them manipulate you!

Derek did such a good and thorough evaluation of my fitness level and paired me with a coach who worked with me and my goals. The coaches there have taken time to learn about my knee injuries and work tirelessly to push me towards getting more strength and mobility. For the longest time before coming to CMF I just avoided activities that hurt my knees. I now know that is a great recipe for losing range of motion mobility and strength. I've noticed an improvement in my strength and endurance abilities. The confidence I feel in body now is new and feels powerful. The place is always clean, great music, and everybody has a good positive attitude. They are even nice to me when I swear at them for making me work hard but it's always worth it. I work with Nathan and Ryan who both make me feel comfortable, strong and they work hard to be knowledgeable and motivating. It has become a time in my week that I look forward to. Also, as a 40 yo woman learning about weight lifting can be intimidating on my own. Nathan, Derek and Ryan never intimidate and there are plenty of other women who work out here as well. HPCF has exceeded my expectations. It had challenged my body in ways I never would have imagined, and I have had a great time doing it. The coaches are amazing, actually coaching and encouraging, and I like the class atmosphere. I have enjoyed meeting new friends and pushing myself to new limits.
