I had an interesting time here. Our waiter kept disappearing to the sister restaurant next door. He was an excellent waiter but do we really need to share waiters? Shared kitchen and shared waiters?
The menu is an allá carte version of the sister or main restaurant. I had a light pastrami sandwich which they called a "hot dog". It was a fancy high priced mediocrity.
Has the chef never been to a deli? Never had a Chicago dog? Obviously not.
My wife had small pulled pork sandwiches served with aioli which they called mini hamburgers. I'm sorry, you can't improve on a North Carolina pulled Pork sandwich and you shouldn't try. These were mediocrities.
The experience left me saying "what?" , when I was expecting "Wow!".
Big wine selection but three stars. read more
