Very disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. I paid for a service that should have looked professional, but my nails started peeling and lifting shortly after I left. The application was uneven, the edges were not cleaned up properly, and the overall quality was not what I expected for the price. The work was pretty sloppy. A lot of my nails are uneven in the acrylic and I had to ask the tech to go back bc he didn't cover my nail with full polish there were empty spots. Also the cuticle bed area is poorly done and I had a couple different color acrylics as the base and it could have been a simple fix with a light pink French tip base coat before the top coat but only the top coat was done. Great spot for nail designs and pedis. Got my pedi with Tami, she was so sweet and took her time. I got the pearl spa package with Shellac for $72 ($57 package & $15 shellac) which included the lotion, hot paraffin wax, and some hot stones . Loved it. I hate when they rush through the pedi, but Tami didn't, i was so thankful for her effort. Randi did my gel nails. I have her a photo of the nail design i was looking for and she nailed it. So patient and sweet. I did chrome nails with the evil eye and lime pattern designs. Her shaping of coffin nails were on point. Full set $40, design $30. Has a great experience overall. Came in today to get a gel mani & pedi, and had an awesome experience. Kelly was my nail tech and she was wonderful - definitely paid close attention to detail and did a great job painting and massaging. I did a deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure. They have several books they give you if you want your nails and toes to match - so you don't have to hunt through several bins of fake nails or search a big wall for a color you might like. Thought that was nice touch compared to other places I've been. My only complaint would be that the colors didn't seem super up to date (I decided to get a really nice neutral light brown ish color, but had originally considered getting a deep orange or an olive green, neither of which they had). They also file and paint your nails while you're still in the massage chair after your pedicure - I've never had a salon choose to do it that way, but it was actually a nice touch. I could keep the massage chair on, and just rested my hands on a pillow they provided. Though I booked online in advance (super easy, through their website) they also take walk ins and were able to accommodate everyone who didn't have an appointment while I was there. Would highly recommend! Wish I had a place like this around where I'm originally from - if so, it would be my 'go to' nail spot for sure. read more

I am beyond frustrated with this nail salon. I called the owner a day before to schedule an appointment with one of their nail techs, who also happens to be part owner. When I walked in today for my appointment, the nail tech I had booked was busy with someone else. She was nowhere near done, and I didn't have time to wait around. I had another commitment I couldn't miss and had planned this time specifically to get my nails done. Thanks to their unprofessionalism, I had to leave without getting my nails done, wasting my time and gas driving over there. This is totally unacceptable. If you value your time and want a salon that respects appointments, go somewhere else. Thankfully, there was a newer salon that had opened up down on 242 called Wink & Polish Lounge, and they did not disappoint my first-time visit! They have a complimentary bar too! I was on a business trip and in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure. The salon was busy so I asked for a timeline. They were honest and said I would need to wait about 20 minutes. They were right on time. The man who did my pedicure was very good and it turned out great. My feet callous and tend to be very dry. He was so kind about it as where I've gone other places and I have been made to feel bad about it. He didn't rush to get to the next person, but took the time to do it right. There was no wait time and I was seated for a pedi and full set of nails. Lavie did my pedicure and was very sweet, gentle with my toes and helpful getting in and out of my chair. Kathy did my full solar set nails and explained what they were since I had not done acrylic for a few years, she was also very gentle and thorough. I love how they turned out! Best nail place I've ever been to. They talk to you as you're getting your manicure and pedicure. It's very relaxing. They offer you drinks while there and make you as comfortable as possible. Went to this place because of the good reviews on yelp, I went in asking for a specific nail the design and shape and they didn't tell me upfront how much it was going to cost extra because they wanted to add shellac as the design. I ended up paying 85 dollars for my nails alone and sat in the salon for about 4 hours. It's not even been 4 days and two of my nails have already broken. I'm upset because I went for a $40 set and left with an $85 set that broke within four days and no one even told me that the price was going to change that much for something that they wanted to do. I recently moved to the woodlands and was in search of a great nail salon that would give me the look of Pinterest nails and toes. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. Adrienne did my nails and I have to say I was pleased with her work. She has been the only person to get the shape I like perfect. My pedicure on the other hand was not pleasant. A young man named Jay did my feet. He was entirely to gentle, not in a ( careful not to hurt you way) but In a " I'd really rather not touch people's feet" kind of way. He barely scrubbed my feet or rubbed lotion on my legs. My polish didn't cover the entire toe and he also didn't remove any of my dry skin. I was not pleased with it at all. The price for services is normal $27 for a regular pedicure and $35 for a solar fill. UPDATE: Hana contacted me after writing this review, to come in for another pedicure. She worked with my schedule and even offered to stay late to accommodate me. ( I really appreciate that) I went in today and Kelly did my pedicure. She was amazing. Very friendly, and warm. Asked if I would like something to drink. I got the basic pedicure. I loved that Hana suggested a different polish color that would compliment my small toenails better than the color I had originally chosen. My pedicure was very relaxing and my feet look spectacular. I'm giving 5 stars because I have absolutely no complaints about my nails or my feet and the customer service is awesome. It's not often that you find an owner who is so proactive in making her customers happy, and keeping her business receiving great reviews! read more

The owner is not friendly to brown people, don't be fooled by him being blasian. He treats people of color differently to his Caucasian customers. You sense it from the moment you walk in and watch his interaction. He'll ignore his customers with color. If you have an issue like I did, when two of my nails needed repairing, although I had an appointment. He made me wait 30mins to tell me no one knows how to fill my nails I will need to get a whole new set. I had no choice at that point but do the full set, I guess he needs the extra $20. I then chose to do a basic shellac choosing not to give him more of my money than he deserves. I hate poor customer service and rude business owners and he checks the box for both. As I was leaving he heard me telling a friend about the poor service and decided that he now wants to give me a discount because I told her I'm not going again and she shouldn't either. The owner is not only small on the outside but on the inside. It's not about the $20 i spend more than that ay Starbucks in a day but his overall attitude. Don't decide to give me a $10 discount when you know you're losing two customers, do it to ensure they come back because they had a good experience. Plus' the fact that he and his staff talk about you and think because it's a different language you don't understand. People are smart they know, don't kid yourselves. Most importantly don't lie to cover your poor behavior.
