Yikes, worst hair experience ever.After 17 years of coloring my hair, I can easily say this was by far the worst salon I've ever been to. Stay far, far, away! I am fairly new to the area and had seen Marty a couple times. I just get a normal highlight nothing too complicated and he was able to do a nice job. Since I had seen him twice I called to make an appointment because I had a work function pop up and needed to get my hair done to be look fresh. Unfortunately, he was out so I decided to give another stylist a chance thinking what's so hard about a standard highlight for a professional?!?! Wrong!!! I rarely ever complain but this was bad. As soon as she began blowing out my hair I noticed how splotchy the color was in all different areas. The stylist, Veronia(sp?) told me it would wash out in a few washes. Now, as someone who always gets the same thing done I knew this was not going to be the case. I told her I could not go to a work function with blue/green spotted hair. So I requested she do whatever she could to fix it , so she said she could retone it again. They then tried make me pay before my hair had even been blown out. I noticed they tried to charge me for both toners, which I politely declined bc I did not feel I should need to pay for someone's correction. The lady at the desk then said she'd need to get a manager since I was causing a disruption??? When I politely and kindly just said I felt that was out of line. When I explained to the manager what happened and I did not feel I should pay for the 2nd toner because the girl colored incorrectly she told me "well I still have to charge you for the product" I again disputed it and she said okay charge her "$45" for the toner which I later discovered she still made me pay for the product. They then mentioned well this could happen bc of the transition... like I had come in their with black hair trying to be platinum, when in fact I left with hair darker then what I arrived with. It took my breaking down in tears and showing them evidence of my hair prior for them to admit the stylist had messed up and had no idea what she had done but would fix it. I came back and gave them another chance. I left with the stylist basically telling me my hair would be a work in progress to fix and that it was in a very fragile condition from all of the harsh treatment it had undergone. Needless to say I spent $245 to look like a clown and have my hair severely damaged. Would never ever go back here!! Worst salon ever!!! See pictures for reference. I would NOT recommend JESSICA. This was my daughter's 2nd cut at this salon. Her 1st time with another stylist she had her hair washed, cut, dried, and curled for the price of the haircut. This time she didn't get her hair washed resulting in an uneven cut. My daughter wanted her hair curled like the last time, and Jessica spent less than 5 minutes putting curls in my daughter's hair. During this time she acted annoyed and distant, and as my daughter tried to talk to her she answered in one word monotone answers. Then charged $30 dollars for curling her hair. Making a 20 minute appointment for a 6 year old cost $73 dollars. Lesson learned, always ask if there is an up-charge! I didn't think to ask as our first experience was so great. I spoke to a manager thinking I had been overcharged and my appointment deposit was not applied, and she explained the issue and understood my frustration. She told me she would speak to the owner and try to make it right. There has been no follow up from this salon. read more

For the price I really wanted to feel pampered. The shampoo lady looked like she hated her job. She used freezing cold water and barely used any product during the process compared to what I've grown accustomed to in my years of going to salons. I normally stick with a hair dresser regardless of price if they do well. My hair came out purple instead of red. It didn't feel healthier like it normally does after a salon visit. The hair dresser was nice and that's where the 2 stars are coming from. I paid 240 bucks and left unhappy with the results. I do not recommend this salon and will not be returning. On a final note, the place looks clean and well decorated and I'm sure the prices of their services is how they can afford this. However, I'd rather go to a run down shack and be pampered/get what I requested for the same price than go back to D'markos Salon. read more

Look no further! I finally found salon where the hairstylist recognizes they have a customer in their seat! Tosha did a great job she listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. Aleea gave me a great wash. Everyone is spread out nicely, it's clean, I felt very comfortable there! Hunter cut my daughters hair and she was beaming when he finished. I went yesterday very nervous. It was my second time ever getting my hair professionally colored and the first time it didn't come out as expected. So I decided to give this place a try. When I made the appointment Debbie asked me to come in for a consultation. We discussed what would be better for my hair. She gave me some ideas and was very thorough. I'm in town for work and decided to try this place after looking at reviews and pictures on social media, yelp, and google. I was disappointed in my service. The stylist, Van, was friendly and nice. The salon was nice and clean. The receptionist offered beverages. However I booked a haircut and blow dry. I wanted a trim with layers. I have a lot of hair so sometimes people are afraid to cut or cut too much. After showing pictures and asking for more layers after the stylist finished, I still wasn't satisfied with my haircut. I didn't want to keep asking for more layers if the stylist wasn't able to accomplish what I wanted after asking twice. The haircut was flat and straight across in the back and did not have the textured layer look. Additionally, I was disappointed because I paid $45, $54 with tip and received just a haircut. No shampoo, no blowout, no styling or products. All their pictures show beautiful styled hair. I left with flat unstyled hair with nothing more than the shampoo wash that I did for myself the night before. Typically I choose higher end salons because of their quality of service. What I received was the quality of a Great Clips or in and out haircut place for $54. The staff was friendly but that was it. read more

Amazing staff! Always an amazing cut, color, facial, or make up job everytime I go. All of them are friendly and knowledgeable. Kelly does an AMAZING job with cuts and Jessica is fantastic on color. They did my hair and makeup for my wedding and we're exceptional. They also have the best stocked boutique around and all the haircare supplies you need. Extensions? Hot new trend? I had not been here before and since I was using someone I didn't know I was very nervous. I had seen great reviews on here and that is why I went. From the first phone call to schedule my appointment to the time I left my appointment I was nothing but pleased!! Jonathan was very friendly when I called and explained what had happened the past three weeks and what I was needing/wanting done. He scheduled me with Nikki at her first available and lucky for me it was Friday afternoon. When I walked in everyone was very friendly and made me feel at home. I met Nikki and she was WONDERFUL!!!! She took me to her station and asked me all about myself and what I was wanting done. Honestly i wasn't quite sure exactly how I wanted it cut nor the color. She looked a the pictures I brought in and told me which would and wouldn't work. She decided on doing a combination of two and it looked perfect!! When it came time to do the color, I told her do whatever she wanted to do. Well, I have to admit, that was the best thing I could've done!! My hair color and cut were/are perfect!!!! Also, my 12 yr old son was with me and he sat on the couch in her station and she talked to him and didn't ignore him. While sitting with the color on my hair she moved us to the lounge are and there was coffee and waters for clients. The entire time we were there never did we ever feel snubbed unlike other places I've been!!
