Who's sick, hobbies, new vehicles, etc. For someone that sees us only once a year she sure adds a personal touch that, to me, shows she cares. Gibbs has always been accommodating. He had actually done my taxes before when I was just a kid, but they were part of my father's tax returns, and he didn't charge my father for my piddley returns then. My tax returns have since gotten much more complicated, and Mr. Cain has been a wealth of information on how to conduct my business accounting, how to fix my accounting mistakes, how to not get audited, and he is very blunt about what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to count as business expenses. If you need an accountant who will be there for you (albeit takes a while to get back to you), is super generous with his time and advice (which is why I'm happy to wait to hear back from him), and will tell you like it is, instead of what you want to hear, then he's the accountant for you. As a side note, I live in Chicago, my business is in Chicago, and I still find it worth my time and money to drive to Rockford to see Mr. Cain for advice.
