David said he would have a quote out in a couple hours but his partner Brandon said it would be out early next week. Last year we hired Dave to add a stem wall to our home. He gave us an estimate and we set a date. He claimed to have years of experience in the area lifting homes. We gave him a $10,000 deposit. The day came and he hadn't even applied for the permit and we found out that we had to get a engineer to design the new base. Which he should have known. He claimed he had an engineer that he worked with all the time. We changed the dates to give them time to get it done. He asked for an additional $7,000 we gave it to him with hopes it would get it done. He never came back. We tried filing a claim on his bond but someone else already did so we lost over $17,000. We had to pay for places to stay during the lift and we were out that money too. A total of $22000 was lost trusting this man. He is no longer bonded or licensed. read more

Not reliable! The owner of this business strung me along for weeks on end saying someone would call me "tomorrow." When someone finally did show up and did a substandard job on one of the items, he asked for a second chance to make it right. He then strung me along for another 5 days, promising the job would be completed "by Wednesday at the latest." Even though I explained I was postponing several medical and other appointments so I would be in town each day in case he found the time to come over, he never showed up! This was a small job, and if he did not want to take it on, he should have said so in the beginning. If you want to be frustrated and upset for weeks, this is the company for you. read more

David and Brandon are crooks. I needed an addition on my Ocean Shores home and they responded quickly. They gave me a contract and pushed to get it signed and the first half deposit provided quickly. After two months they began work without permits. Then they lied to me telling me they had received the permits. When they told me they were again going to the permit office, we surprised them and met them there. Found out they hadn't even applied for the permits and told them they lied to us. Then we found out that the state had suspended their license a month before and we didn't know that. Things got worse. There was so much confusion about the drawings I provided. I did rough measurements to simply get an idea of how it would work out. They used my drawings without ever measuring anything and laid the foundation. The trusses they ordered weren't even the same as the ones on my house. They failed their first inspection with errors that no contractor should make. I won't waste your time with the mistakes they made. They hired a neighbor and fired him after one day. After six months of not paying him for his work, he came to my house at night and pounded over a dozen holes in my siding with a hammer. They order the wrong size siding and instead of retuning it and getting the right size, they installed it anyway. It had to all be removed. They installed the vapor barrier incorrectly. They didn't waterproof the exterior door. Their sheetrock work was horrendous. Their painting wasn't any better. They installed the flooring first and didn't even protect it before sheetrocking, coming in from the muddy yard and sheetrock mud everywhere. They brought in an unlicensed electrician who installed electrical outlets with no two the same height off of the floor. They cooked in our kitchen, left food on my new flooring, left rotting food in our house, slept in the house and even left evidence that they had sex on our kitchen floor and them blamed it on a painter when they hadn't even hired a painter. They even asked for more money to keep things moving. Needless to say, we fired them and brought in a new contractor who was appalled at what they did and told us the things they will need to redo. As they are broke, both personally and business wise, we will never get a penny back as we know of at least three other clients who are suing them. Do not hire them!!!! They made promises to us every week and had excuses for everything that didn't get done. Here we are seven months from signing the contract and have nothing but studs and a roof to show for it. My husband and I purchased our dream home last year. This was our first winter here and half way through the season, we began noticing that there was a tree on our property line that was becoming a problem not only for us but for our neighbors as well. I called numerous people for estimates and advice and the end result was that nobody would touch it. It was too dangerous to remove and it was a liability for them to proceed any further so we were stuck with a dangerous tree that would end up doing more damage to both of our properties if nothing was able to be done. I had one last person to call and that was dschroeder construction. I called and spoke with the owner Dave , I explained my situation and set up an appointment for him to come out the next morning. I had very little hope at this point but I was going to exhaust all resources none the less. When Dave came out the next morning, (on time I want to add, because not one of the other companies were punctual AT ALL) he was kind, he listened to me explain the problems we were up against and when I took him down to the tree, he looked it over, told me that he was going to be able to take care of it and he scheduled me for the next afternoon. I was still skeptical at this point but he came out the next day, him and his team took all safety precautions necessary and he took care of that tree that afternoon and didn't charge Me an arm and leg to do it when he very well could have being that he knew he was my last option.
