Payment is due at the end of your service - Head Spa Options: Ranging from 30-90min, there is a variety of options you can choose. If in doubt, talk to the staff. For me, I ended up switching from the luxury head spa option over to the Chinese Herb Spa due to my hair health and type. - Chinese Herb Spa: For those who are wondering about this option, the key difference is the products used. Overall, I loved the natural scents like ginseng and I do enjoy how my scalp felt after the session. Products didn't sting my head and my hair felt so light and airy after, even with the blow dry at the end. - Staff: Friendly and considerate :) - Interior: Quiet and relaxing. Do note that the space is divided by curtains vs actual rooms (except for when you get the blow dry or the changing room). - Other note: For the hair spa sessions, you are provided a towel like dress/top for your upper body and a basket to store your personal belongings that will be kept by your side for the whole time. Everything went well. This was my second time getting a head spa here and the experiences were great. It's a nice, calming, and pleasant place. Staff is always nice both times I've been here. I always get the signature 1-hr head spa as I don't need anything more than one hour keeping still. It's the most stillness I can do. Haha Anyway, I loved the soothing products they use. They are not overbearing when it comes to smell. Everything is mild and calming. I also appreciate they ask how I'm doing and if water is the right temperature and the right pressure. I appreciate the attentiveness. All is great. After the spa, they dry my hair and send me off with a warm goodbye. This is one of the best treat anyone can do for themselves. It's a good way to de stress and have a moment alone. It's affordable and of course, you are welcome to add on to your original spa such as: eye steaming, so many on the list they recommend. Location is also nice and safe. I recommend you book first. It seemed easier to get the soonest appointment this time in the evening-if you prefer that. read more

My sister gifted me a head-spa treatment to this place after our friend recommended it to us. We went together and chose different treatments. I got the Purifying scalp care inclusive of " Head massage, deep scalp clean , shampoo & conditioner treatment, hair mask and steam , scalp serum and red LED light therapy." Going into this never having been before but seeing all the tiktoks of other places I assumed there would be an evaluation or before and after but nope. This place got right to it. They give you these little robes to put on so that your clothes do not get wet. It was kind of unclear how much of your own clothing to take off which was confusing and could have been better communicated so we guessed. The treatment was relaxing. All you hear is the water and whatever music they have on. The area is not totally private, you can see others getting their treatments done with a curtain in between. If you go with someone else you can either solo or ask to be in the same area. IMO, it does not really make a difference though because they have your eyes covered the whole time which can be unnerving if you are not used to it. I really love this place. It is one of the least expensive in the PNW and they do really good head massage/scratching. They're also really responsible to pregnant women. I was reading the previous negative reviews and I can say that they do fix the things that were being complained about. Like they are more quiet since it is a big room separated by curtains. They are also really quiet and don't really speak during appointments. They also wear masks. I do agree that they shouldn't include the blow dry in your appointment time AND they should be more educated about textured hair. For me personally, I do plan to go back as many times as I can before I move in July. read more

I was gifted a $80 GC. My experience was great! I'm a mom of 3 and haven't really had time to get any spa treatments done. My nieces were so thoughtful and knew exactly what I needed. I upgraded my services to a signature head spa treatment with a guasha facial. $138 Relaxing and quiet ambiance, but keep in mind that you are not in a different room from other clients, just separated between curtains to maintain privacy. That didn't bother me at all, besides-- I was asleep within minutes of my head massage My skin is sensitive to some face products-- my only regret is not asking what they were using for my facial massage. I wish I had brought my own skin care, I did break out a little and I have no idea what was applied to my skin. I think going forward, it would be good for this business to be specific with the products they use so their clients know what they're putting on their face and body. read more

I have been coming to D4 at least once every two months for the past year and a half (first visit: Feb 24) The staff is all well trained, the prices are very fair, and you can't go wrong with whatever service you select. There is relaxing music playing and though you can hear folks coming in through the main door, it's not at all annoying or bothersome. I've mainly gotten the Neck and Shoulder massage and the guasha facials (bonus: one after the other) and everyone has always asked for my pressure preference and double checking that everything felt good throughout the service. I'm writing today because I tried the CBD Oil Massage (60 mins) and it was the best experience yet! I don't know if it was Tina or the type of service but I have never felt more relaxed. Tina made sure to ask where I felt most pain so she could massage with some intent, and the massage was full body (including scalp and face, which I wasn't expecting)!! I went on to try the head spa. As I have never tried this before I have no frame of reference. This was relaxing and my hair smelled great and was so clean after! Trying to replicate the fresh grapefruit scent and clean soft hair on my own will be my next challenge! I have long hair wavy hair that has a propensity to tangle! That being said I wish they brushed my ends out first. This would have prevented the tugging due to tangles. She was very gentle and apologetic when she got a tangle. I do not think they are used to dealing with hair that isn't straight! That was apparent, especially when my hair was getting blow dried. My hair with blown dry straight very easily if you know what you are doing. I came out with damp/fluffy hair. Would I try this place again. Yes! Now that I know what to expect I will be sure to brush my hair out before and ask that they brush out the ends to start! The scalp massage/wash was great! read more

I saw this place on tiktok and I've been wanting to try a head massage and lucky for me my cousins gifted me with a gift card to D4. I got the signature head spa which comes with a head massage, neck and shoulder massage, end with a blow dry. All done in 60mins. The smells of the shampoo, conditioner and oils were amazing. I don't know what they used but it makes your head tingle. Although they don't style or straighten your hair at the end, the experience was still great. Their prices are unbeatable! I appreciated their online booking system; it can be hard to call to book an appointment with 2 jobs (LOL!). BTW, The analysis is free if you pay cash! It was super helpful to get the woman's perspective without trying to sell me their products or anything. It felt like she really did want to solve my concerns. She then recommended I do another treatment other than the one I booked because it would be better for my hair. I also added on an essential oil treatment which smelled amazing. There are probably other businesses, but I'm not just not aware. :( I got the signature head spa service that included a head/neck/shoulder massage and it was lovely! The washing of hair and overall experience was very relaxing! Once the service is over, they use a device to check the health of your scalp which was cool. I wish it was used before though so you can see what your scalp looked like before the service and then after to see the difference. She dried my hair with a Dyson drier and used some conditioner and Moroccon oil. My hair felt so smooth, soft and clean after. Here's the deal- I don't know any other head spa places in the Seattle area. Decided to give this a try and it is LITERALLY the best part of every haircut... the wash. I went here thinking "oh I'll give it a try but this might be a bust"... I've now been back pretty much every other week. Each bed is separated by curtains and you just lay down and have them brush, shampoo, and condition your hair. The massage is amazing. For under $100, this is a must try. read more

I am a big lover of scalp massage and when they wash my hair at the salon so this was a given. I went with the super deluxe package (80 minutes) and just soaked it in. Only things keeping me from giving 5 stars are: -they did not use the camera on my scalp, but I did hear them use it on others -they have NO CLUE what to do with curly hair and I left looking like a poodle I would absolutely return, ask for the camera to be used, and say no thank you to the blow-dry service. read more

I purchased a 90 min massage and truthfully, it was 85 minutes of pain. I should have gotten up and left, but respectability got the best of me. My favorite self-care treatment! I've come across this place while looking for different massage or body care spas. My friend and I were so excited to find a head spa in our area! There are very few in Seattle and this is a hidden gem. For our first appointment, we had a holiday special treatment which included a 30 minute back massage and 60 minute signature head spa. I left feeling on cloud 9 the head spa includes scalp stimulation with different combs and implements, a shampoo and deep condition, shoulder and neck massage and rinsing with warm water. They also include blow drying and applying hair oil! Today I experienced the gua sha facial massage and signature head spa. 10000/10! An enjoyable and relaxing experience! I got the signature head treatment and gua sha facial. It was very relaxing. The woman who did both worked hard and did a great job. My partner also had the same combo as me. He has very short buzz cut hair so probably didn't need the signature head treatment as much but it was a nice experience for him and fell asleep through the whole thing. The woman giving his facial didn't use gua sha tools and used other things like electricity and a cold roller, which I'm not sure why but he liked it. His facialist was really good. It was a nice treat to get this but I already do my own scalp treatments and get aesthetician facials so I won't need to come back. It was fun to come and try it out. It has really bothered me the amount of loose hair follicles I find on my scalp since chemotherapy. When I run my hand through my hair, I find loose hairs, some with the follicles attached but I find many follicles alone, like hard little balls on my scalp. I can spend forever finding them and picking them off. Fast forward to this weekend, I made an appointment for a Head Spa treatment with Vicky. She scrubbed my scalp with like 6 different tools, washed like three times and conditioned my hair + gave a shoulder, neck, scalp and face massage. If you're anyone like me with the same problem and can splurge, it was incredibly worth it. My mental health has been low and having my scalp squeaky clean with no loose hairs or follicles feels awesome. 10/10 recommend. It was worth it even with how short my hair is. I've been seeing the head spas all over tic tok and wanted to go. To make sure I got the full experience I did the luxury 90 min session. It was fine. That's it. Fine. They did not do the camera on my scalp before or after and the menu said it included a hand massage which I did not get. That all being said. The wash and conditioning treatments were relaxing. Really soothing spa treatment and really efficient with their time, too. The 60-minute Chinese Herb Head Spa came with a scalp, neck, shoulder, and quick back massage. Additionally, there was multiple cycles of conditioning and herbal treatments that they go through and they apply the perfect pressure to make sure it infuses into the scalp while feeling like a soothing massage. The jet/arched water sprays are very light in pressure. I really appreciated that the spa service made sure the temperatures were pleasant. In terms of ambiance, it is true that they've been super packed so the only thing separating clients are curtains. You'll hear everything that's going on, including people that prefer to strike up a conversation with the team members (mix between Mandarin/Cantonese speakers). I would've preferred it to be a bit more quiet, but it is what it is. I came out feeling like my hair was lighter and my scalp felt really... clear. It's hard to explain but I can understand the difference of really taking the time and care to revitalize the hair and scalp. I also appreciated that the parking situation is alright. There's a lot of parking spots but it isn't so easy finding parking since Town + Country shares the same plaza. Also, the price was great and the service quality was amazing. Best place for a head/scalp massage and wash! Easy to make an appointment online. They have several options - we tried the signature. Once there you undress and they give you an outfit to wear along with sandals. The area for the scalp massage is separated by cloth curtains between each guest. It is sooooo relaxing!!! They also offer a heated eye mask as an add on. They are excellent at making sure to keep water out of your eyes/face when rinsing. I thought the "ring of water" was a bit ticklish! Afterwards they blow dry your hair for you. My scalp felt super clean, strands of hair were feeling "separated" and very soft! Let me start with my friend and I had waited 11 months for my appointment let's start there. I happened To be scheduled the day of the " bomb storm " and 20 min into the treatment, the electricity went out. So at this point my friend and I looked at each other and thought are they gonna reschedule us ? No they continued, we had just started, at 6pm they had not even wet out heads at this point. But we figured. Ok, they must be able to continue with the WHOLE PROCESS. Well that was not the case, immediately, the room started to get cold, and they got our heads wet and started shampooing our heads, and massaging . We were most excited for the fountain ( if you know you know ) another 20 min of washing and rubbing. She begins to rinse, the water is not hot, it's actually cold. Lights still off. And the manager , owner , one who checked us in comes around the corner and says. " hey we are only gonna do a 1 hr service because of the storm " at this point my friend and I are wanting to Leave. The water is cold, no lights, and we are thinking we will be rescheduled. They rinsed our heads, rubbed our shoulders, brought in our clothes and we were given towels for our soaked heads. We could not get blow dryers, again no electricity. We get to the check out and we get charged 88.00$ for our 129.00$ appt appointment. We both left 100$ because it is not the girls fault of the storm. But come on. Why did you continue knowing you couldn't provide the whole service? We don't know. We went there for the water fountain! Doesn't everyone! And we did not even get that turned on us ! We got our hair washed with cold water For 100$ !! After waiting 1 year for the appointment!!! 1star for the girls who probably wanted to go Home to be with their families instead of being there in the storm. I made an appointment months out due to their availability for a 90-minute head treatment. Once arrived, they brought me back, inquired about any scalp issues I have and used the camera for a scalp analysis. Then they asked me to put a robe on (I did not get sandals like another review reported) and put my clothes in a basket. They had a spot underneath the table you lay on for my purse to go that is not on the floor. The treatment itself was great! It started with a neck and shoulder massage, then a little face and moved to my scalp for a nice massage. Then they applied a pleasant smelling serum to my scalp and eventually washed my hair thoroughly multiple times. They later moved onto an arm and hand massage before going back to my hair and scalp. I felt very relaxed. They offered me a heated eye mask for $2 about 10 minutes into my treatment. I wore it and liked it. They finished the appointment with blow drying my hair and adding another oil in it. My hair is very soft! Half way through I told myself I'm coming back for another self care day in the future. The only cons are what others mentioned. There are curtains that separate you from other clients and you can hear everything if someone speaks. I would also suggest using the half roll knee rest thing (you know, like what they use when you get massages to help alleviate pressure off the low back). If you're looking to get a nice facial and give your scalp a lot of love, this is the place! The ladies here are super sweet. I should have asked what products they use for their facials. My cousin is an aesthetician and I see her for my facials, but wanted to try D4 Season. I booked the Guasha facial and head massage treatment 90 minutes. The facial was ok, 30 minutes of repetitive oils lotions sprays and the tools she used weren't chilled so skin was stimulated but never calmed down, my skin stung after. The head massage experience was better lots of massage shampoo conditioner and blow dry. You can't complain about the blow dry they are not hair stylists. Overall I might go again read more
