The pasta just melts in your mouth. We just had water, so I can't comment on the drinks. We would come back if we lived in the area for sure but we live far from here. Amazing views, good service and delicious food…read more Came in at 19:15 for dinner on a Tuesday. Place was quite empty but when we left 2 hours later, it was packed with a long line of people waiting. I loved everything I had, for starters I had the small fish hors d'oeuvres...it was made up if 4 components, octopus cooked in squid ink over polenta, bacalau pate (I would call it pate, it was shredded bacalau mixed in a white sauce), smoked salmon (some of the best I have ever had) and a scallop in tomato broth. All of this was delicious! For mains I had the paella, I would call this a saffron seafood rice rather than paella, it was divine, lots of seafood...clams, pipis, mussels, fish, octopus...all cooked perfectly with saffron in rice and peas. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was heady with coffee and not too sweet. Now hubby had a ok experience, he had the passionfruit tuna tartar to start with the grilled shellfish for mains and the creme brulee. He thought the passionfruit added nothing to the tartar, the grilled shellfish was a very small main for the price especially since it came with a few grilled langostines and prawns and nothing else. The creme brulee was topped with unmelted sugar which was not pleasant, no traditional melted sugar topping to crack. So all in all, a mixed experience at the same table. I am sticking with a 4 as it was a great experince for me and I am going to try to convince hubby to give the place another try.
