Stomach growling as I was walking down Viale Pasitea (the main thoroughfare in town), multiple good options caught my eye. After some Gmaps searching (sorry Yelp, again limited and some outdated data in Europe!) their beautiful IG-able interior + stellar reviews cinched the decision for me. It's both a restaurant and retail store--the latter carries local ceramics, kitchenware and home decor, many with botanical designs--capturing that quintessential coastal vibe--colors back to white. The former takes up the remaining three-quarters of the white-washed space with about two dozen tables seating about 40-50 people. Live vines hang from parts of the ceiling, pendant lighting fixtures printed with leaf patterns echo the botanical theme from the retail displays. The aesthetic rounds out with tiled floors, light wood furniture, and pillowed banquette seating mixed with individual tables, tying in designs from the home goods store. Food is new Italian--they do carry some traditional dishes though they also have a modern Mediterranean section of the menu that adds non-traditional ingredients or techniques. They also serve a variety of cocktails, fresh-squeezed or blended juices and smoothies, and coffee drinks. Lunch with an entree and drink will run you about €35-40, which is on the higher side though par for the course compared to other similar restaurants along the Amalfi Coast. I ordered the traditional fagioli cannellini, scarola, capperi, olive e calamari gratinati €26 (cannellini beans, escarole, capers, olives and gratinated calamari). This was creamy and tasty even though it had no cheese or cream, the calamari was cooked well, just tender enough, and coated with light breadcrumbs, which I appreciated as it was baked and not deep-fried. Having minimal familiarity with dish, I can only say I thought it was outstanding, good textural contrast, not too salty. Staff was the right amount of attentive without being overbearing, and though their English was limited, they strove to answer my questions on ingredients in a few of the dishes. The restaurant was pretty busy during lunch, but I never felt rushed. Loved the atmosphere and food here, would certainly recommend!

They also do lunch and dinner. They have a nice selection of teas. Their specialty, however, is the bakery galore! Cakes, cupcakes, shakes... any sweet dessert you desire, is available here. Founded in 1830 by Andrea Pansa, the pastry shop has been family-run for generations. Today, it's especially known for its traditional Amalfi pastries and sweets, including the popular delizia al limone, made with the region's famous lemons. It's a little piece of Amalfi history that you can actually taste. We had a bit of time before our ferry, so I made a quick pit stop here. Luckily, I read a few reviews beforehand and knew the process: order and pay at the register, then take your receipt to the counter to pick up your food. I happened to visit during an off time, so there were only a few people inside. I quickly browsed the beautiful pastry display, jotted down the names of what I wanted, and was able to order easily despite my very limited Italian. I was in and out in probably five minutes. Everyone was friendly and helpful, unlike some of the other reviews I've read. They packed my goodies in a beautiful little box, and I took everything with me to enjoy with my family later that evening. Of course, I had to get the delizia al limone -- a must in Amalfi! I grabbed a few other pastries too, a pan di Amalfi and a ricotta e pere. Everything was delicious and thankfully, not overly sweet. It was also fairly priced (I'm from Hawaii where everything is expensive so...) and for the quality, well worth it. Overall, I'm glad I made the quick stop. The pastries were delicious, the experience was great, and getting to taste a little piece of Amalfi's history made it even sweeter. Definitely visit if you're in town!

This address is the main location along Via Duca Mansone I, they also have a couple other smaller chocolate and gelato boutiques, the closest being diagonally across the piazza in front of the Amalfi Cathedral. Outdoor seating set out on the stone street fronts with a cream and wood color scheme and table umbrellas for shade. The store interior shouts classic European emporium, warm, medium-tone wooden display fixtures and wall paneling with mirrors and glass. A handful of golden chandeliers and pendant lights. Most importantly--many glass displays of pastries, cakes, chocolates, cookies. The staff is forthcoming and friendly, ready to help when I mentioned looking for a snack without certain ingredients. Their English was much better than my (non-existent) Italian. I ended up purchasing a little bag of almond cookies €6, with a texture between almond cake and marzipan, baked in little mini cupcake cup shapes. They were tasty though a little on the sweet side. Prices in the store were pretty typical for Amalfi Coast though I think a little higher than average pasticcerias in other Italian cities. I had planned to drop by again to try their gelato though alas didn't have the chance again when I was there. If I ever go back to Amalfi will drop by again!

The Sfogliatella completely blew my mind. The flakiness was incredible, and the level of sweetness was a perfect match for my cappuccino. It is truly a must-have in Napoli! On the other hand, the Babà was just okay for me and wasn't quite my favorite compared to the pastry. Just a heads-up: the line is usually long, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time. My only regret is that I didn't buy a second sfogliatella for the road!

My mouth went in total shock once I tried 3 different pastries from here the crème that was used in these OMG! Worth the wait we went maybe 25 min before closing so the line was not that bad. I don't know Italian so I just pointed out what I wanted and got through the line fine. It's hidden on a back street and be prepared to wait on the street!
