Ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Chana masala, mixed veggie masala, bhindi masala. There's no buffet with covid at all. One guy is manning the tables and the carry out orders, so waiting to order is taking a bit. They have beer and alcohol. The waiter told us we ordered a lot of food with naan and rice. We said we aren't eating the naan or rice at all. He was apologetic for the delay in taking our food order at least. The gobi is not crunchy, it's soggy, like it would be after an half our drive in a carry out container in the car, the breading is so not crunchy and the cauliflower wasn't cooked all of the way either, has the flavor of it not being cooked. We asked if it could be made crunchy the outside and maybe more fully cooked inside too. The flavor was good and the heat level too. I get bits of fresh ginger in bites, it's good. The second Gobi Manchurian is more crunchy, which is good, just a bit sparse with the sauce is all. The dosa is a bit thicker and more dense than I was expecting and less crunchy, still good. You can even see bits of lentil in the cooked dough. My husband feels the dosa is more like injera. The outer edge of the dosa crisped up. The chutneys are good, their spiced. The mint or green one is my favorite, hands down. There's tomato chutney, coconut chutney and the sambar soup or lentil soup. The butter chicken is the best of the 4 entrees. The sauce is sweet, creamy and smooth. Not a huge fan of their version of the bhindi, mixed veggie masala or the Chana masala either. The mixed veggie masala has eggplant, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and potatoes too. The music went from pop music to some more traditional older style Indian music. The Bhindi and mixed veggie masala is rather greasy too. What I don't get is the Chana is also in a masala, but it's not as greasy somehow. The portions are bigger here than other places for sure. Hardly made a dent and we are pretty full. Service here is good, the gobi Manchurian is good. Ask for it crunchy if you like it a bit crispy and less soft. The butter chicken is also a good pick. Portions here are generous too. Total is $61.42.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time and I am an instant fan!! The food was SO flavorful, and had a great amount of spice. We were promptly greeted and each given a bottle of water to drink. You're able to take your plates up to the dish area, which was nice so we could clear the table as we ate. My favorites were the Manchurian corn, and the tikka masala. Everything was just so well done! About $20/person, and the seating was plentiful and comfortable. We will certainly be back.

Daawath Indian cuisine Novi - Today May 15th I ordered food for $112.76 and after hour and a half when I went to pick up the order I was informed that the order was not received!! No apologies, I get a lecture on how I should have called ! No apologies that there is a functional website accepting orders and it is accepting card payments and orders!! At that point in time they tell me they are having issues with the website! 112 freaking dollars. When I asked for a refund the idiot wanted me to write down my full card number to issue a refund! Order was placed at 1:30 pm. Pickup was 3:00 pm. These guys are completely unreliable. The food is delicious. The food is brilliant but the service is hopeless. Don't order food for pickup. Don't share your credit card number with these people.

Phone shows the order I received, the QR code to the online menu and the yellow printed menu placed around the restaurant.

Summary, I do not recommend this restaurant because - Incorrect pricing - Missing items in order - Long wait time 1. This restaurant has always have long wait time. You should expect the food to be ready over an hour by the time you place the order. 2. I've placed a take out order via phone, the order was missing a share of garlic naan that I got charged for. I called the restaurant and they told me to come back and get the missing item. It wasn't worth the drive so I told them not to worry about it. If you want to order take out from this restaurant, I recommend to open the bag and make sure you have everything you should get. 3. I just ordered an other take out via phone, the yellow printed menu that they put throughout the restaurant listed the order should've $27.99. I ended up being charged $35 + 10% off cash discount. I bought back the order to the restaurant and they said the online price is the correct price and the print out menus in the restaurant is outdated and said I should refer to the pricings online. Please don't believe the amount that they ask for. Do not pay in cash because you will lose the traceability. Always order online because you get more confirmed pricing and refund policies. Attached phone shows the order I received, the QR code to the online menu and the yellow printed menu placed around the restaurant.

I only recently became a fan of Indian food. I'm pretty impressed with this place as a whole. The food is definitely fresh and full of flavor. We ordered some appetizers and entrees. I was expecting mint sauce with the appetizers but it only came with the sweet sauce. That's ok though. The tandoori was good and the chicken saag was amazing as was the chicken tika masala. Kind of quiet in here, music might help. Also, it's bottled water which is fine but I was thirsty with the spice level and I wish it was more readily available lol

Bland/plain, lacks vegetables and seasonings/spices in the veg dum biryani. Not worth the 45 minute wait.

Food quality has plummeted over the past couple months. I only ever get the veg dum biryani and it used to be so delicious. The last THREE times I have ordered here, my biryani has been mostly white rice, lacks seasonings & lacks vegetables. I am very disappointed this used to be my favorite restaurant. Will not be returning. Disappointed enough.

Worst Indian food I've had. Buffet had NO meat at all. Very few options. Food that they did have was bland or flat out bad tasting.

Food is fantastic. Their village goat fry and their biriyanis' are extremely flavorful. The customer service is subpar.

It looks good…read more Ordered the chicken seekh kebab, gobi chili, honey chili crispy potatoes, Chana masala, dosa masala and Tadka Dahl. $84.80 Staff asked us to be patient with the food coming out. It's a bit slow. The chili fries are yummy, spicy. The chicken kafta is dry, still very fragrant and flavorful. It's better with the cilantro chutney and the yogurt sauce makes it more palatable as well. The gobi chili is okay, the chili sauce with the fries is what we expected the gobi chili to taste like, it's different here, still not too bad. The rice isn't my favorite, it's small grain, not the basmati rice I was expecting. It seems dry and almost disintegrates upon adding the tadka Dahl to it. The potato and pea masala is really good. A small portion comes with the dosa masala. The tadka Dahl is runny and the lentils are pulverized to bits, it has more of a soup consistency to it. The dosa is very crispy, maybe too crispy for me. The dosa is good with the mango chutney. The Chana masala was ok. Not quite the flavoring I was expecting or hoping for though. The service here is good, just slow to get the food out. The chili fries were the best out of everything we ordered tonight. They could use this seasoning on the gobi and it would make it so much better.
