I came here for the first time because of The Rose merch event so there was a two hour wait and it was just not normal business hours. If you are interested in coming to Daboba, I highly recommend you check on their instagram to confirm if they have any events going on. I believe if you wanted a drink, you were able to walk in and bypass the line altogether. The staff is really friendly. The hot drinks were on the pricier side and the cup was smaller than at other boba shops. Maybe the downtown location factors into the price of the drinks. I suggest you order the cold drinks because that looked like you got your moneys worth. The boba was just average and didn't really stand out to me. There is street parking available but I ended up paying for parking at a nearby garage. The location and the boba being just average doesn't make it worth the drive. I got a tea one and it wasn't really for me - Unfortunately you could only buy that one in a large so it felt a little wasteful my friend didn't like it either. One of the best boba shops in Denver!! I'm visiting Denver and am familiar with Daboba since we have a few locations in SoCal. I decided to stop by the Denver location and was not disappointed! My group chatted with the owner and learned she also spent time in SoCal and is familiar with the top boba shops there. She truly knows her boba and it shows in the drinks at her Daboba. I tried the Ube Homerun which is homemade ube jam, milk, brown sugar boba, and salted buttercream on top, and let me tell you... hands down one of the best ube drinks I've ever had. The ube flavor is strong and not artificial and the salted buttercream pairs perfectly with the drink. The boba is also delicious!! Boba is chewy and sweet but not too sweet - just how I like it. The menu is fun and there's a lot of different drink options. You can also get Little Man ice cream served with boba here. Service was great and the location is convenient as it's right by Union Station. Interior is really nice and there's a lot of tables and games too. Great Japanese Oolong. The tea is so unique and unlike any regular boba shop. I highly recommend trying out classic milk tea with Japanese oolong. It's very spacious inside. There are cutie corners if you want some instagram moments. Overall a good place to hang out and get good drinks. read more

Came here after getting gyu kaku since it was nearby and we wanted to try a new boba shop out. The place is really spacious and well designed. It's brightly lit inside and seemed pretty cozy and they also offered some board games as well! The staff were super nice and helpful. They were also quick with our orders and seemed to handle it very well when the crowd came in behind us. We got a large brown sugar fresh milk and a large ube with boba as well. The total came out to about $15 with tip which is pretty standard for some boba drinks now. I did unfortunately have to dock one star though as I don't feel like either drink had much flavor to it. The brown sugar one seemed just mostly like milk. The boba was soft but I didn't get much of a brown sugar taste at anytime during the drink even after scraping it off the sides of the cup to make sure it was mixing in with the milk. Maybe I went on an off day for that specific drink? Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I was in Denver for a layover and decided to take the train to Union Station instead of sitting in a corner at the airport. I was wandering around the area looking for some food and hit three different Starbucks location prior to landing here. I realized I could really use some more caffeine since I started the day at 4 AM and still had to make my connecting flight, so I crossed my fingers and looked up boba spots near me on Yelp. Daboba was the only one within reasonable walking distance, and I was initially on the fence because they don't have the most reviews but figured I'd give it a shot. I read Eileen D.'s review about there being a couple of locations in SoCal, which gave me more hope that this spot would be a winner. Even though I previewed the menu and somewhat decided on ordering the passion fruit green tea, when I walked into the store I ended up having a conversation with the owner and cashier over the history of DaBoba, the most popular menu items, and their personal favorites. I'm the kind of person that asks for a recommendation and then turns down every suggestion I receive despite understanding how frustrating it can be to be on the other side of the conversation. I don't like cheese cream in my boba, I don't like mixing coffee with boba, don't like ordering coffee at the boba shop in general, tapioca balls can give me a stomachache if they're too hard, all other boba toppings are just not as authentic, black tea is too strong, the ube option doesn't have caffeine, the list goes on. The cashier especially was super patient with me and didn't seem frustrated at all even though I initially asked for a heavily caffeinated milk tea option and ended up ordering a fruit tea. I actually ordered the red dragon even though I'm not personally a big dragonfruit, mango tea, or lychee jelly fan. I like to think that the bottom line is if it's on the menu it's got to be good, so even though I had immediate regret when I settled on it I kept an open mind in the hopes of being pleasantly surprised. And in the end, I definitely was. The red dragon is probably one of the pricier drinks as the dragonfruit puree is made fresh and needs to be triple blended. This drink also only comes in the large option. The contrasting colors are particularly eye-catching, but don't forget to mix well before putting the straw in. I'd mentioned to the cashier that I like to order my milk teas at 50% sweetness, and being a fruit tea in hindsight I realized that I might find it to be too sweet. However, that was not the case and it was actually very refreshing. The lychee jelly had a good chew to it and didn't make me concerned about a stomachache at all. I can't say I see a lot of dragonfruit fruit tea options at the boba stores that I've been to in the past so I'd definitely recommend the red dragon if you're a big dragonfruit fan or interested in trying something unique. I was initially surprised at how spacious the inside of the store is. The decorations are very modern with just a bit of Asian inspiration. There is a shelf of board games, a bar area with lot of outlets, a coffee table surrounded by couches for reading, and some two seater tables along the wall also with outlets. I was initially going to go to the library after getting boba to study because I'm so used to California boba shops never having available seating space or outlets for that matter, but I was relieved that I could just sit down and work for three hours without feeling like I was overstaying my welcome. I would definitely recommend this spot for your studying needs, board game get-togethers, and if you're an indecisive boba lover like me. read more

This new boba place popped up downtown and I just had to try it. I saw online that they gave cute cup covers that are shaped like bears and when I ordered my drink, they did not disappoint. Before I ordered, I asked what was the most popular drinks and they said their roasted brown sugar line was the most popular followed by their fruit teas. My friend and I ended up trying a roasted brown sugar fresh milk and roasted brown sugar milk tea. As we waited for the drinks, we watched them prepare it in front of us and use a torch to roast the brown sugar on top of our drinks. The atmosphere inside is modern with a lot of tables where someone can probably sit and study. There are also games on a bookshelf so I'm sure groups can come in and enjoy boba while playing games as well. Parking was easy late on a Saturday as there was metered parking available directly on the street. Both drinks were delicious. The fresh milk version tasted a lot creamier than the milk tea, but both were super flavorful and delicious. As someone who loves anything with sugar, these drinks really hit the spot for me. This is da boba place to check out! I was craving boba and this place looked like a great option since I haven't seen it before in CA. I tried their Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea which was a tealicious option. It comes in an adorable cup with an unnecessary, yet cute bear topper. The regular size is a little small for the price ($5.75) but the drink is well done and the boba has a nice fresh springiness to it that creates an enjoyable boba drinking experience. There are plenty of other options available and you can also get your caffeine fix in with one of their coffee options if you're low on energy. It is warmly heated inside and plenty of seating available within its spacious interior. This is a very instagrammable, cute little boba place in a great location downtown (street parking though). I tried two drinks, the matcha and the brown sugar milk tea. The brown sugar was a bit watered down but the boba was also chewy. I prefer my boba drinks to either have a strong tea taste, or be super sugary. Here the drinks are more plain, but maybe that is a good thing because it means there is less sugar?
