I love this place . They have a nice selection of QUALITY cigars and lockers to store them in, for an additional fee of course . The decor is upscale yet casual and very relaxing . They have about 6 nice size TVs and a projector and screen for the big games ! Best of all the staff is GREAT. Snju and Danny always take care of me !! Try them out you won't regret it .... I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised from my experience. I am routinely in the area on business and have always wanted to stop in, but the negative reviews kept me away. I'm glad I came. The lounge is very well appointed with comfortable furniture, and plenty of room to spread out. I really appreciated the fact that the TV's were on mute. When traveling I like to find find a place to have a cigar (especially in the winter) and most places have the volume blasting and it is hard to relax and read. The crowd was mostly retirees that were quiet and went about their business. I saw several reviews mention that the cigars were not In good shape due to the humidity, but I didn't experience this. My cigar was fine. That being said, I can see how it would be a challenge to properly humidify everything with the doors to the humidor open. This brings me to another point - I have never been to a store that has an open humidor. I guess it could lead to problems and it was interesting. The selection is second to none. I have never seen a store in in the tri-state area or New England with a larger choice to choose from, and I found the prices to be fair. My only real knock is that you have to spend a minimum of $10.00 to use the lounge, but in the grand scheme of things that is not too bad. You're not going to get the warm and fuzzies from the woman at the counter, but that's not why I came. Nor did did I have any personality issues with her that others complained about. In closing, this is a place that I will come back to and enjoyed myself! read more

Despite the large selection there are many reasons my husband and I were sorely disappointed with this establishment. We could accept that everything from the cigars to the ashtrays and drug paraphernalia (bongs, blown glass pipes, baggies, etc) were all heavily overpriced (double what we'd pay for certain cigars at other shops) but our BIG problem was quality of care or the cigars. Their humidors were way to moist. This caused massive problems with the actual smoke. My husband indulged on a Opusx ($50) cigar and it burned horribly. Took forever to light properly and burned heavily concave. My small CAO also burned this way. Definite sign of a improperly maintained humidor. Another issue was the humidor was not a walk-in but all behind glass. A customer cannot properly inspect a cigar before selecting and as only 1-2 employees work the front at any given time it's impossible to ask one to follow you around opening the humidor for your inspection. The lounge/bar area is descent but very dark and doesn't exactly emit a friendly or welcoming vibe. I do have to say they had a small collection of beautiful hookah's, marble and jade chess sets and poker sets. Their selection of cigar accessories (cases, humidors, cutters, etc) is quite large and nice but again highly overpriced. In all I would rather travel further or order off the net then go again. A $50 cigar down the proverbial toilet and fairly high hopes dashed. A waste of money and people who don't know how to properly care for their products. read more

Store itself it nice but people that work there are horrible.... I went there with my friend to buy some stuff and the way they talk to me it was horrible they were rude to us and I could see that they are looking down on me because I am woman and buying e cig juice ( they from Pakistan or India I guess but not sure ) and the way they talked to me and looked at me like a biggest criminal, they really made me uncomfortable.... When I was asking about prizes they pretended that they did not hear it ..... And when I was asking when they will open smoking area they kept changing dates and when I would come back there to see if it's open they would just ignore me completely .... Not going back there ...... Workers ahold be replaced immediately because with costumer service that they have now this place will not survive for long read more

HORRIBLE PLACE EVER their prices are WAAAAY to overpriced. They sell a hookah tobacco for $28/30 dollars, I got home to use it and it was expired! I found a new shop HOOKAH PARADISE in haverstraw ny. Their price for the same tobacco was $20 bucks, not expired and mad fresh! I recommend HOOKAH PARADISE its so gorgeous and sell a wide range of products. I have to disagree w/ a previous reviewer. I have been living nearby Cigar King for about five years now. Prior to living here I was in Manhattan and had access to the best of the best. I work from home, so very often in the midde of the day when I need to unwind I head to the cigar king and am always greeted by the very friendy and knowledgable staff. No matter what is going on in my life I know that I can disappear into the lounge area and forget about everything. I have never had a problem with any of the cigars or the care of their cigars. Whenever I go there the nice owner lets me know what is new and what she thinks I might like based on previous purchases. This place is great and I would highly recommend it. read more
