It's a solid place to have yunnan rice noodles in Atlanta. You can walk in on a weekend night and be served delicious bowl of soup noodles. They also open quite late, which is

The food was fresh but the noodles that were not soup took a really long time. The appetizer of fried spring rolls were quick and fresh. We had the original and the Kimchi rice noodle soup. My daughter added shrimp, my husband and I ordered lamb slices. We also ordered passionfruit green tea with regular Boba and the green tea is very strong. The teas also look a while coming right before we were done eating. There are no child options so we had to order plain noodles and add soy sauce. The atmosphere is laid back and quiet. If you're looking for a quiet place with food that has a light flavor, this is your spot. The added benefit is it's open to 5am.

Pretty good and they stay open until 5a! Fast service, good and hot noodle soup. Not too bad, will come again in the future

Got the spicy beef noodles here! This spot is open late so we got to come after a late flight. So glad there are spots open late to satisfy our cravings. I would say the noodles were just a litttle too mushy and overcooked. But the soup was so so good! Not too spicy or salty. It was the perfect balance. Not gonna lie I definitely wish there were more beef slices, only four was definitely not enough haha. I did appreciate all the little dishes with vegetables that it came with though. Overall, this spot was a solid! Just wish there was more meat included in the order, but know for next time I'll order extra.

Small casual yunnan noodle spot with good enough service for a Chinese restaurant. Prices pretty decent for what you get! Ordered the pickled fish noodle soup & beef bone noodle soup. Both flavorful & tasty, only thing we didn't like was that the beef bone wasn't like the photo and was difficult to peel or get any meat off. Protein wise it ended up being quite low. The pickled fish on the other hand had plenty of protein and it was very tender. Would still return to try other items - lots of apps & desserts too.

This place is amazing when you're in the need of a late night place to dine in at. The worker was friendly and nice to us and helped me decide what to order. I got their curry chicken rice noodle which came as a hot to the touch bowl and a side of noodles. It was flavorful, hot, comforting, and every bite was satisfying. I wouldn't dump all the noodles in, instead take some as you eat so they don't get soggy, it's already cooked nicely. The brown sugar sticky rice reminds me a bit of like a French toast stick that's crispier, very good. I would give it a 7/10, would come back when in need of food at night.

Buford Highway location provided ample parking and the ability to quench my late night dining needs. The decor represented the home country, and was accented with beautiful, healthy plants throughout. Service was prompt by friendly staff. The shrimp infused dish ordered warmed my soul on a particularly chilly early am - arrived @2:30 AM. My partner ordered the soup and was impressed with the variety of vegetables included. We also ordered mussels, which were a miniature and extremely delicious. There were a few items that were not available on the menu during my visit which led to the 4 star rating. Overall, Daku served its purpose and will be added to my dining destinations.

Get the whole fried chicken and thank me later. Seriously. It's so damn good you won't want to share. Crispy, juicy, flavorful. You're going to eat an entire one and then order another. The crossing bridge noodle soups are good too. I like the sour one. But i come here for the chicken. Get the chicken.

Open late, good price, overall I.... RECOMMEND! I love the kimchi noodles it's so good! I know the meat looks a little... small but when u mix everything together it's just PERFECT! This mini hotpot noodle situation isn't the only thing they have to offer they have a BUNCH but this is just my go-to!

So let me just say this spot automatically and immediately has my attention because it's open until 5:00 in the morning. It is a true late night situation after you've been out all night. It's basically a pho soup type of spot. They bring you the soup itself and all the ingredients that it's kind of like a hotpot situation. You add the ingredients as you go. They bring your tray with everything on there and you at the different meats and vegetables to your liking. For the main course I got the sour and spicy soup and I added meatballs and lamb slices to it. I started with the crispy chicken as an appetizer And I added some Cajun fries just because. The fries were very well seasoned (you could see the seasoning on them), the chicken was really good and flavored very well. It did not come with a sauce to dip them in but they did have a good taste without it. The soup was good and had a good broth base. You are able to pick multiple broth types so you would need to go many times to try them all. But they give you the option to have all the ingredients in the soup or outside (so you can put it in yourself). Meatballs were not really seasoned but they were tender. The lamb and the beef was a little hard to tell the difference but both took the flavor of the broth anyway. This is probably going to be a staple for me as a late night spot because there are no spots that are open up that late. It's not super unhealthy because it's soup, but it is a lot of fried foods elsewhere. But if you've been drinking out in the club or the lounges, it may be something that's needed to help soak up some of that alcohol lol. But the service was friendly, I got seated immediately, I Got treated very well while I was there by the wait staff. This spot is clutch!

We wanted some soup on a cold weekday and Dagu Rice Noodle was amazing! We usually get Pho but decided to try this instead. We ordered a Passion Fruit Tea and Super Fruit tea for our beverage and it was beautifully served and tasty not too sweet. For appetizers we ordered Salty Crispy Chicken and Mini Soup dumplings. It came out hot and fresh. The chicken although fried it was not greasy and very flavorful. The soup dumplings were perfect temp and texture with some dumpling sauce. A++ he asked if we wanted to cook our own soup and we decided to DIY. I ordered the Tomato Crossing the Bridge soup with lamb. It was tasty not spicy and it came with little condiments and mixing. I was impressed but i should have added some of the condiments on the table like the chili oil and soy for the extra punch. The actual restaurant was quiet for 8 pm on a Thursday but I look forward to catching a booth for a late night snack since they are open until 5am!

I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was wonderful as well. We started with a ton of appetizers. They came out fast enough and most of them were quite tasty. My favorite was the spicy cucumber dish. It had more heat than what I usually get and I loved it. The crispy salty chicken was the right mix of crunchy and juicy. I wish it had some kind of dipping sauce. I dipped it in the cucumber sauce and that was better. The serving size for both was good for what you pay for. The bread appetizer was also a pleasant surprise. It came with two pieces. My least favorite part of the meal was the cold noodle peanut dish. I just couldn't get into the texture. It was also oily which just ruined it for me. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly come back. The menu has a lot of options and I would come back just for the cucumber dish!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I ordered one of the rice noodle soups and the chicken cutlet plate. Both were amazing and not to mention, very affordable. The server was very kind as well. I am definitely going to be back soon. I am from the Bay Area and trust me when I say their Taiwanese style fried chicken is good :) Looking forward to try the rest of the menu items!

As for the food, I usually tend to be fairly generous in my ratings, but on the day I visited, the dishes were noticeably salty. The seafood noodle soup, jajangmyeon, and fried rice were all saltier than expected. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but this part was a bit disappointing. We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

A unique noodle dish with a cute origin story!…read more The story begins with a wife wanting to nourish her husband while he studied for the Imperial Exams on a little island. She made a rich golden chicken noodle soup and sealed in the flavor, heat, and aroma with a layer of chicken oil; and packed the other ingredients separately so that her husband could have a fresh meal as he studied. This dish and style of preparation/presentation eventually became known as Crossing-the-Bridge noodles and is categorized as an intangible cultural heritage for the region. Similar to hot pot, you're supposed to cook the individual ingredients in the hot broth when it all comes out; however, the pot isn't constantly cooking and it should all go in when it arrives at the table. The original broth is really flavorful, while remaining delicate and hearty, and all the various components go well together. The only thing is that the broth does cool down relatively quickly once you start putting in all the other ingredients, so some things weren't as hot as I would've liked. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience! Service was wonderful and there's always parking in this plaza.

The other food options are pretty good too, except the curry, which I found ok at best. It was kind of bland in comparison to everything else I tasted. Not actually "Szechuan Spicy" as it states and the curry was a little thin. If something says mala though, believe it... to a degree. Not as tongue numbing as others I've had, but you can still feel it. OH! You have to pay for your rice though. It does not come with and is $2 for each bowl you want. Never before have I had to pay for steamed white rice, but ig it's a first for everything. Dining in here is a bit similar to ordering take away. You have to scan a QR for the table to place your order, which you pay for ahead of time, before your food is made and brought out to you. There isn't much service besides someone getting you a drink. I don't think it's really worth sitting down and eating there, and if you wanted food here, I would only truly recommend the dumplings like I was.

We ordered a plethora of stuff such as crispy bulgogi bao buns, brushed sprouts, steamed dumplings, mango chicken and a noodle plate. Food didn't take long for it to come out on their little robot and staff helped put everything on the table. Everything smelled and looked amazing so it was tough to decide what to taste first! I first tried the crispy bao bun and was blown away by the flavor it had! It was like a mini burger. After that I tried the steamed dumplings and they were so yummy and specially with the sauce. Next I tried the Brussels sprouts and they were necessary my cup of tea but still good! Just wouldn't order again. Second to last thing I tried the mango chicken and man was it good!!! Full of the best aroma and flavor and cooked to perfection. The plating was also gorgeous as well!! We finished off with mango sticky rice and It was good but I do wish it had more mango to help the ratio. Overall, it was a really good visit and I was excited to try it out. It was a bit pricey but we did order a lot so it may be a special occasion once we come back again but I'd definitely be back!

It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper

New Lan Zhou Noodle is one of the restaurants in the China Town food court. It's pretty popular due to their freshly made daily pulled noodles. Pre-pandemic, you used to be able to see them do it behind a glass screen. Now, you cannot see the back kitchen. Hubby and I ordered a noodle dish each (him was Seafood and mines were Short Ribs) along with their soup dumplings (that they're known for) and Twisted Cruellers. Food took very long to make, but it's understandeable. Bowls were very big and full. Meats looks good, but the white broth did not look good at all. We took a spoonful of broth to start off with without adding any condiments and OMG...no flavor at all! We were thoroughly disappointed. The meats part were good and tender (though again, no flavor), but most disappointing was that even with condiments, the broth was bland. We kept on saying to each other that we will not order from here again. The noodles were just okay. Nothing earth shattering about it. Twisted cruellers tasted like it was just heated from a frozen one. I didn't get to taste the soup dumplings because we were running late for appt since the foods took so long and had to pack it to-go. I can't really comment on that. I will not order from here again and would like to try the surrounding stalls around it.
