The bank employees excel at in-person customer service…read more And the bank makes a strong point of emphasizing supporting local businesses by offering increased earnings on your checking interest rate if you shop at local businesses and buy with your Bratt card. However their impersonal services, like online banking, needs a serious 21st century upgrade. Resetting your password online and getting approved to make transactions via the Bratt Bank app are not streamlined. It's a clunky process.

The worst experience I have EVER had with my taxes. I called to follow up on why I hadn't received…read moremy money. My "tax specialist" Matthew was intent on telling me how I was wrong until he finally admitted that he had put in the wrong routing number....not was given bc the routing number he inputted was for Bennington instead of Brattleboro and he admitted that "that was a line above Brattleboro". I finally am given info that a check was cut on March 14th...it is now April 3rd and I have received nothing. I was offered no break on the over $500 that I had to spend on incompetence. After all of this the manager Jennifer....after 2 messages being left called today to relay the same exact information. I was told they would do something if I came back next year....not in writing just verbally which after my experience up to now, I wouldn't even attempt to redeem that bc its probably bull nor would I want to. Seriously, human error I get but the arrogance in addition to the incompetence is just too much!!!!!!!
