I was in the area and I seen Daily Provisions. The name sounded familiar and drew me in. The atmosphere in here is really nice. It's a good place to chill, get work done, catch up with a friend, etc. I was unsure of what to order but I was looking to get something more on the healthier side so I got a kale salad with salmon. Plus I got a chai hot tea. The salad was really good and paired well with the salmon. I liked how they added egg to it. The tea was the perfect blend of herby and sweet. The service here is exceptionally friendly and personable! Shout out to Audrey Hepburn they were on it! Making sure everyone was taken of and directing traffic. The store was popping at 1:51pm on a Friday! I like that Daily Provisions offers something that other local spots don't. Breakfast sandwiches like the Lumberjack swap our regular old bread for a maple cruller- what?? The avocado toast is one of my favorites and I love the pickled peppers on top. That said, I think the espresso based drinks can be improved. They always taste a bit burnt to me. But it's a great spot for a casual breakfast/brunch. You may have to wait around for a seat to open up on weekend mornings. They also have salads and savory lunch options, but I have yet to try those. read more

One word: RUN don't walk here! Really smooth, delicious iced lattes and even yummier soft cruller donuts are what I had here and I'm still thinking about them. Wow what can I not say about Daily Provisions that isn't pure perfection and happiness? From the ambiance, cleanliness, staff, quality of food and coffee, everything about here hits the spot. So this location has always been allocated to miscellaneous business throughout the years but nothing was ever permanent it was always ever changing. I love going to the Trader Joe's across the street so I was beyond elated to see that this opened up conveniently there. Upon entering you are immediately greeted with the bakery and it's self service so you order at the front and pick up your orders. The iced latte is my favorite go-to and they have plenty of options for beverages from teas to matcha to coffee. I am also obsessed with their maple cruller donuts! These are so delicious and made fresh and taste incredible if they're warm. I always gotta go back to stock up on them!! I love coming here whenever I'm around and the staff is so friendly too! The food at Daily Provisions is always excellent. We order from there a lot. The organization... less so. Every time I've had a delivery issue when ordering through their app, they always promise credit. Today even, when both drinks were missing from our order, when I called, they said, "oh, we'll take it off your next order," which is not a viable option. I don't think I've ever actually received any credit for previously messed up orders either, despite promises. I'll be using Doordash to order in the future, as at least I have means of obtaining credit when the order is inevitably screwed up. Update: After posting this review, I was offered a credit from Daily Provisions, usable on their app. I used it. But I'll still continue to use Doordash for my DP deliveries until they build some kind of credit system into their app. read more

We all loved the coffee! I tried an iced chai latte and it was flavorful and smooth. The mini blue berry muffin had a crunchy sugar exterior and lots of berries baked in. I opened the door of the establishment, to the smell of a bathroom. I'm not sure if this is an every day thing or this was just an extra special day that I decided to visit. Service was very friendly upon arrival. I ordered the soup and sandwich combo for $17. Food took a bit of time to come out, and it wasn't busy, so that doesn't really make sense. My tomato soup was hot chunky salsa. I was expecting it to be blended, but was surprised. But the grilled cheese was excellent. I have come several times a week for a couple of years, the food is pretty good (tho very overpriced) and the staff is excellent (Audrey, Steve, Anthony) - HOWEVER in the last year the place has gone down hill fast: -The place smells- you'll leave smelling like a kitchen. I now know not to go in if I have other appointments that day. This is an issue that has been noted in other reviews as well. -The staff has also been significantly reduced leading to a perpetually filthy bathroom, long lines, and dirty tables ( I bring disinfecting wipes with me if I'm working there for the day) -no menu changes, It feels like they are going after private equity or a sale of the business: reduce overhead and show profitability. Hopefully, this leads to some simple changes. read more

This is the newest location of this popular Danny Meyer chain. They're primarily known for their breakfast and lunch goods also being open earlier than many other spots in the area though they have some options for later snacks and they also have some combos for those who decide to go in late. The staff here is nice and they have plenty of room and are usually quite crowded around lunch time and especially brunch on the weekends. The best thing here is what they're most famous for which is the Cruller. Available in their signature maple or cinnamon or in a seasonal flavor, these are outstanding and honestly famous for a good reason. I've tried the maple which is easily the best along with the cinnamon which was fine but not worth it for the same price. They also have seasonal flavors for a dollar more such as the current excellent blood orange flavor and I am eyeing them adding back the cannoli version. If everything was as good as the crullers, then this place and all their other locations would be likely be riding a mid/low 4. Otherwise I have tried a few other things in terms of more breakfast options. The Hibiscus Tea was on the lighter end but fine though I wouldn't order it again. The Oatmeal Cherry Cookie was okay and again I wouldn't order it again as there's better ones across the street at Mamaan among other spots for cheaper and tastier and better portions let alone other places that aren't mini chains. In terms of main meals, I've had two and one was good and one wasn't. The Patty Melt with an all-natural beef patty, caramelized onions, a homemade secret sauce, and American cheese, all served on griddled seeded rye bread for around $15 was surprisingly tasty. I generally don't like American cheese much and I hate seeded rye as I don't like caraway but I can't help but like this melt. This is possibly because of the amount of grilled onions or because of the quality of the beef patty but who knows. It didn't really make sense to me but here we are. It's not the best burger in the area (that would definitely be Henry Public) but it is certainly better than a certain overpriced spot a couple blocks away. Just alright is the Chicken Milanese Sandwich with crispy breaded chicken breast, melted mozzarella, roasted peppers, onions, and spinach tossed in our house-made Caesar on fresh baked focaccia which is around $16. They list a lot of flavors but I found the sandwich bland and a bit dry. The chicken was too breaded also. It just wasn't worth it for the price nor for the flavor. I haven't really tried many of the other main dishes here. read more

This coffee shop is chic and aesthetic with the blue and white decor. There's a number of them throughout the city and I've heard some good things, so decided to stop by for a quick bite to-go. I got the Everything Croissant ($5.95), which seems a bit pricey for how small and cute it is. To my surprise after biting into it, it's filled with cream cheese! Omg, I've never tasted anything like it since the cronut was invented and even that pales in comparison. I didn't take a picture because I inhaled it and instantly wanted ten more. I was so obsessed with the passionfruit cruller from Daily Provisions that I stopped by the Brooklyn location a week later. This time around, I tried the Cinnamon Cruller. It would give it a 4/5 so it was still a good donut. It is priced at 4.95. It has a lot of cinnamon sugar on it so I would have loved to have it with tea. This location has more seating than the location I visited in Soho, but it was still pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon around 12PM. read more

We take all of our friends and out-of-towners to DP to try it. Other things on the menu that you can't go wrong with: - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. I love the poppyseed roll and the thick-cut bacon. - Chickpea & Veggie Sandwich. I could eat this every day. Even better w/ avocado. - Tuna Sandwich. This is pretty good, though I agree with other reviewers it's a bit on the salty side. I'd like it more without the olive tapenade. - Patty Melt. It's DECADENT. Delicious, but be prepared for food coma. - Chicken Milanese Sandwich. Very tasty and not too heavy. Also, if you're into chai lattes, you must try the one here. They are one of the only spots in the neighborhood that make their chai in house (pretty much every other cafe uses Dona), and it's perfect. Not too sweet, and they even add a little piece of ginger to each cup. I think service is great. Everyone is very friendly. When the lines get long, they often have one of the employees walk through the line taking orders on an iPad to get orders in faster. If you don't feel like waiting in line, you can order online (pickup or delivery) and the wait is usually reasonable. read more

I was really excited to see the new Daily Provisions location in Brooklyn and wasted no time checking it out. Despite the rainy morning, it was clear that the rest of my neighborhood also got the opening memo and was lined up outdoors with their umbrellas. Don't be discouraged if you also encounter a long queue - the line moves quickly, and the indoor seating turns over just as quickly, with multiple seats becoming available every few minutes. For my order, I went with a cold brew and the Lumberjack sandwich - bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiched between a maple cruller. Perfect treat for a lover of a sweet/savory combination. Housemate hot sauce is also available upon request, which has more of a mild roasted pepper flavor - flavorful and tasty, but not spicy. Salads and soups are also on the menu, although the tomato gazpacho was unfortunately not available. Daily Provisions is a great addition to the neighborhood, which I'm sure will not struggle to draw lines in. Went for the first time today, bought two donuts and a chocolate chunk cookie, to the tune of about $17 and change, which is nuts. Major regrets.
