My wife went to the Steeleville Dairy Queen yesterday for three blizzards. She ordered two of the new cheesecake strawberry blizzards and a Banana Split blizzard. The person (Kid) at the window gave them to her with lids so they said they would not need to be turned upside down. They ice cream was already running down the sides of the cups. All three of the blizzards were crap. Two of them had whip topping on them but the third didn't. So we figured the one without must be the banana split blizzard. Nope it wasn't.They melted very fast and made a quick mess..Today we were in Sparta and the wife asked if I wanted to go to DQ and get a Blizzard. She wanted to try the Sparta DQ . We ordered two of the Cheesecake blizzard's, the same at we did the day before in Steeleville. The lady at the drive thur turned them upside down to show how good they were made, Steeleville didn't do this. They were great , both of they were great with extra amounts of cheesecake and real Strawberries in them. I was about to give up on blizzards because of how the ones from Steeleville were made.I'm glad we stopped in Sparta at their DQ. read more

this is a joke? me and my family was going here to eat lunch and there was a note on the door a reminder to the workers how to act right and the girls was working there didn't even look like they wanted to be there and they keep adding stuff they we only want of not knowing how to refund it leaving food that was ready just sitting there getting cold someone needs to help this place out. read more

Absolutely the WORST Dairy Queen around. Lawd forbid you have an employee do their job.. Last Saturday I called in an order, the female employee answered the phone, and here's our conversation: Me: hello, I'd like to order a pickup order. Employee: When would you like it? Me: Asap. Employee: Ugh, well we're not that busy right now, so you can just come through drive thru. Me: Umm I don't want to do that, because you don't know if you're going to get busy within the time it takes me to get up there. Also, I would rather not wait in the drive thru, or in the store. Employee: Ugh, then what do you want? Me: Gives order. I sent my husband to go get our food, and he was treated like an idiot. If you look on Facebook, they have a super low rating. Most (not all) employees are lazy teenagers, with an attitude. If you order multiple icecream treats in drive thru, and you're by yourself, you shouldn't have to ask for lids, a bag, and napkins! Honestly I can't believe I have to give a Dairy Queen a one star but I had two bad experiences here. The first experience was I ordered a blizzard for me son that I asked for extra thick so he could see the blizzard upside down (I thought that was standard but I heard they don't do this at the steeleville as I specifically asked). When they gave me the blizzard not only was it not turned upside down, they actually had a lid on it. I know this seems like a trivial thing, but it is a normal practice I see at every other DQ I have ever been to. My next experience happened later that day when I took my older son through for a blizzard as well and after waiting in the drive thru line for a few minutes, the lights shut down and I guess they decided to close early. Not a simple sorry from the drive thru attendant or anything but they just shut the lights off. I really did hate giving a bad review but obviously the owner or manager doesn't care because both of these experiences should never occur. read more

DQ always has a great menu, but, their burgers, are often pink in the middle. We always have to tell them 'Well Done' when ordering, and twice before, they've had spoiled milk in the Ice Cream machine. Service is slow, and drive thru, you might as well turn off car after each pull up read more

Literally the absolute worst service i have ever received my entire life, repeatedly! Staff always seems annoyed that you being there requires them to do their job. At least the last 6 times, maybe more that i went there they never include the bread with the chicken strip basket and then give me attitude and constant eye rolls when i ask for the bread in my $8 meal that includes no drink that i just purchased. Yesterday completely blindsided when at 8:45 in the drive thru i was informed that the kitchen was closed because they close at 9pm. Only thing available was ice cream or pretzels. 15 minutes to close and now the unsupervised children running that store are turning away paying customs with the exception of ice cream and pretzels. That's a whole new low even for steeleville dairy queen. You only get 1 star because yelp made me give it to you. I think you deserve no stars which is what you truly earned. This is the worst DQ on Earth. Today I ordered a Heath blizzard. First, I was given a Blizzard that was completely filled with chocolate syrup. I've had this issue at this DQ previously. They want to pour chocolate syrup in every Blizzard they make, no matter if it's supposed to be in it. So, I caught it and asked if they put chocolate syrup in it. The employee said yes, so I requested one with just Heath. She was visibly aggravated, and gave the order to someone else to make. The second employee made the Blizzard, then I saw her put a lid on it and turn it upside down and band it on the counter. When I got it I took the lid off, and banged the bottom on the counter. It was half empty. She did it so all the ice cream would go to the top and stick on the lid. I asked her to fill it. She did. When I ate the Blizzard I realized why they insist on dumping in chocolate syrup. Because they don't want to add the candy. There was at most a teaspoon of Heath in a large Blizzard. This is not the first bad experience I've had here. It's not the 20th. It's every single time. I once had to argue because they made my order wrong, and said I would have to pay for a second order if I wanted it corrected. The employee at that time got so frustrated with my insistence that they replace the order, she called me a b**tch within earshot. I'm done. I wouldn't even give this Dairy Queen a one star if I could. We sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes waiting for one milkshake and two sundaes. The worker was completely ignoring us and was being rude. Also, we ordered a large onion ring and then when we got them, it was a small. The worker said they don't sell large onion rings, yet they are on the menu. The milkshake was the last thing we got and it took them 4 people to make it. Does anyone know who owns this dump? I went at 8 pm to get my families dinner and they didn't have mr.pibb, and poured my daughters sprite from an opened 2ltr. I wanted a red velvet shake but they didn't have any vanilla icecream. then when I looked at my daughter and wifes chicken strip baskets they were in fry boxes and the chicken strips were more like chicken nuggets literally. I will starve before I ever go back here. other then the food sucking the 6 girls working looked like they had better things to do then prepare our food and serve it. if I had been in the store when I noticed the condition of the cold under prepared food someone would have worn it. never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
