Well, now I know why - b/c it was meant to be that I met Dr. Edwards and the wonderful staff in his office. They were calming towards my dental anxiety, non-judgmental for the state that I've let me teeth get to, and more than willing to break down each thing they were about to do. Then to make that better, Dr. Edwards and his assistant both gave me hope that my smile can still be fixed and they will be happy to get it to what it should look like. Even the office lady, Mrs. Kathy was just the most pleasant woman to speak with. For being a dentist (and I cant imagine most people like to deal with those) Dr. Edward and his staff are top notch and have now made a client for life.

Then the treatment plan for my oldest son seemed excessive for a 16 year old. Long in short they demanded up front payment without billing insurance because I missed an appointment scheduled for me. That was so I wouldn't come back and that was fine by me! We needed a second opinion anyway, however what they did was in poor taste! I'm often ill and suffer with many issues regarding my health! Needless to say I'll have to pay out of pocket for new x-rays because they billed my insurance for x-rays that can only be done annually through my insurance and no other Dentist will accept those film. I intend to call Aetna and let them know what they did. I don't recommend them A) Their treatment plan was sketchy ( appeared to be an attempt at $ grab) B) Due to unprofessional business practice( attempting to chastise me) by requesting payment up front I DO NOT recommend this dentist! Carrie took the X-rays of my teeth and the music put me at ease and the newer equipment than I am accustomed too. She explained the process and was able to fit me in for my cleaning since there was a cancellation. Sarah Beth provided the detailed cleaning to include the frequency used to break up plaque, floss, and paste to have my teeth look the best I have seen without the coffee and tea stains. Finally, Dr. Weihi examined my whole cleaning and said my teeth looked remarkable. At the age 59 1/2 I am proud to have no cavities or fillings. Dr. Stewart is very thorough and kind. He walks you through everything and tells you exactly what to expect. He takes the time to make sure you're completely comfortable. I discovered them while looking through what doctors take my dental insurance, so my first visit was not a referral. Everyone inside is very friendly, and one thing that really impresses me is how prompt they are. When you make an appointment at 2:30 in the afternoon, you will be in the dentist's chair by 2:30. They don't overbook or keep you waiting long, and I really appreciate that. This has been my experience after over half a dozen visits. My first visit was for a cracked tooth, and while we had to make a plan for a follow-up visit, my dentist took a moment to grind down one edge just so it wouldn't keep scraping my tongue. I loved that attention to detail. In other cases, I had some minor work done and they always say what they are doing and explain things along the way. Not once have I ever felt any major pain even after a root canal and extraction. One really cool thing I like here is when X-rays are done, they have screens in the office so you can instantly see the results. It's pretty neat to see a close-up of your teeth and actually see where there may be problems, inflammation, etc. I've never had that experience at a dentist before. On top of that, they have TVs mounted to the ceiling so you can distract yourself while they are doing work.
