I don't normally eat breakfast and got the Granola. It was fine--your typical yogurt, granola, and berries. It was tart, crunchy, and sweet--they provide a side of honey. I had half and gave the rest away because I wasn't hungry. Also ordered were the Bubble and Squeak and Fruit Pancakes. Oh my gosh, I had multiple bites of the Bubble and Squeak because it was so good! If I were hungrier I'd order this for myself. It's a delicious harmony of savory filling goodness. But no, this cafe really are selling some fine calorific freakshakes! It's a basic cafe inside, with a small fish tank (always nice to see fishies), there are even some sofas to sit on if you really want to get comfortable. I went on a Saturday lunch time, and even though there's quite a lot of seating available, the whole place was full. I had to make my order and sit outside for 10 minutes, luckily I sofa became available so I quickly nabbed my spot inside the warm cafe opposite the fish tank. We ordered 3 freakshakes, Invision Our Vanilla, Peanut Butter Passion & Raspberry Roulette, all of which were really, really good. They tasted amazing and they looked so freaky too. We did have these as a dessert and had ourselves some savoury paninis first, which were very tasty too, especially the BBQ Pulled Pork Panini. What a fantastic hidden gem!…read more Off the beaten path but well worth a drive. I had coffee and breakfast here a few days ago--delicious, and very cheap. Sat with my laptop for awhile. So I had to come back for their "Sunday Roast" (afternoon dinner feast). Three courses of delicious homemade food, everything scrumptious, only £16. Such a great value. OMG was the food good. REALLY outstanding. It's a bit of a drive from Bath but it's also glorious country and you can leave the traffic and tourists behind. Will definitely be back.
