My preferred option is the banh mi dac biet which is basically their special with pate and meat. The baguette they use for the banh mi unfortunately isn't really fresh. They only toast it for a few minutes and it turns up more on the softer side. If you are used to the Subway bread, this might be ok for you but a Vietnamese baguette should be fresh, very crispy on the outside and very fluffy on the inside. The veggies tasted fresh, the pate was ok but not exciting and the meat were a few cold fatty cuts of pork. In my opinion the veggies could have been pickled a bit more. They just tasted like ordinary fresh veggies. The avocado smoothie was nice. SERVICE The guy who took my order was very nice and friendly. Same goes for the two cute Vietnamese girls. I asked for some Vietnamese chili with my banh mi and while they skimped a bit on the chili, the guy was only worried that I couldn't take the heat. ATMOSPHERE This place is small but has a few tables and some seats at the window. I would say the building is quite old but they made the best to make it look fresh and trendy. Some corners and decoration items really need some cleaning though. RATING I wish I could give this place one more star. I really do but the execution of the key components for a banh mi are just not up there yet. I mean its fine if you really want to eat some Vietnamese banh mi but for someone who has eaten so many banh mi around the world, I just can't justify 4 stars at that price.

They have about 10 "small" plates for €6.90 each and 10 "large" plates for €13.90 each. To start, I got the magic rolls, which come with tofu slices and soy sheets wrapped in seaweed, with some greens and edamame in a rich soy sauce-dominant marinade. This was super tasty, even if on the salty side, and came out in about 2 minutes. I got the pho chay for my main, which came out in about 10 minutes (after ordering). Now, I'm absolutely spoiled for top-quality vegan pho here I'm from (Vancouver, Canada), so I wasn't expecting much. Well, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the broth -- it has a nice five spice depth to it. I asked for their homemade chili oil to amp it up, which helped a lot. The pho comes with mixed veggies (broccoli, carrot, mushroom, zucchini, baby corn, and coriander), fried tofu, and medium-width rice nooodles. Not particular authentic but nicely done. Friendly, prompt service, reasonably priced and well-portioned. Definitely worth a stop when in Dusseldorf. The fixings are pickled carrots & radish, cucumber, cilantro, lemongrass, jalapeños (if you like it hot) and homemade mayo plus your choice of meat or tofu: porkroll classic, curry chicken, roastbeef, lemongrass meatballs or lemongrass tofu. I had the lemongrass tofu bánh mì without mayo and a homemade ginger & orange lemonade. Heaven! The tofu was perfect, the veggies juicy enough to make up for the mayo and the cilantro the best addition to a nice and fresh sando! The lemonade was delicious & served in a cool glass. They also serve summerrolls and papaya salad. Both again with your choice of meat or tofu and a sweet corn pudding for dessert. The service was fantastic, prices are fair. Homemade lemonade for 3€, the veggie bánh mì 4€ (the most expensive was 5,20€ I think). Let me just add that I got a second bánh mì for takeout!
