DO NOT USE DIAMOND Q VET SERVICES From the beginning, I…read moreknew something was off. My dog kept getting chronic ear infections. I finally asked if there was a surgery that could help him. I was referred to the Red River Animal Hospital. I found out it was allergies causing my dog's ear infections. As soon as I started treating the allergies the ear infection went away. Why did Dr. Q not figure this out? Hmmm......Then when I told him what the other doctor said, he told me allergy medicine probably won't work for my dog. I told him that I have nothing to lose, so I want to try it and I went against his recommendations and it cleared his ear infections right up and I have no more problems. Had I listened to him, my dog would still be suffering. Had I not asked for a referral, my dog would still be treated for ear infections. It was a different doctor who was smart enough to treat the root cause and not just the symptoms of a root cause! Then I changed his allergy medicine to a medication that was supposed to be better according to him. My dog started getting bacteria overgrowth on his skin under his fur. We went in for his yearly visit and Dr. Q saw some spots and told me to use ear ointment on them. My dog also had a start of an ear infection now too! A couple days of being home, I noticed a lot more bacteria overgrowth on his legs under his fur. I never noticed and neither did the vet on exam. I was petting my dog and he growled at me and I took a closer look and realized what was there. So....I called and said I needed an antibiotic because I found more bacteria on him that was missed on examination and me rubbing ear ointment on it wasn't going to do it. His wife that works there said, "oh so it got worse" I said, "No, it was missed." She would not admit that her husband missed something. Then he would not give me an antibiotic unless he saw us again even though we were just there and he knows my dog has these chronic issues. HERE IS THE KICKER! I finally broke down and made him an appointment after he didn't call me back after several requests. We went in this morning and everything was going fine and while we were talking I just told him that the last time he was in he had this all down his legs hidden in his fur and it was missed on examination. He then took offense to that and told me my visit was over and I needed to find a new vet, then he kicked me and my dog out of his vet practice all because I told him he missed seeing bacteria overgrowth on my dog when we were in. He was not nice. He said, "Oh come on now." as though he could never have made an error. He made plenty with my dog from when he was just a puppy with ear infections. He treated symptoms and not what was causing the ear infections- Allergies! Do not go there. He is not a smart veterinarian! He's in it for the money and doesn't want you pet well. He wants them to keep coming back sick. He didn't want to see my dog's ear infections cleared up and gone. I would give a "No Star" review but that isn't possible.

I would've easily paid five times more back home. I needed to get in right away, and they were able to put me on standby. When I arrived, I was greeted by the nicest staff and their adorable cat lounging on the counter. It immediately made the place feel warm and welcoming. My dog was treated with so much care, and she was completely comfortable with the vet, which is rare for her. Everyone here felt genuinely honest and kind, never like they were trying to upsell or take advantage. These are truly good people who care about animals and their owners. Highly recommend.

Everything went well except they tried to sell me on giving my an operation because it showed he had been neutered but his testicles could still be up inside him. Of course, I said no. When I got home I started to look over the papers and discovered my dog was to have a 2nd round of vaccinations. They refused to schedule an appointment for me because of my behavior. I most recently was voted Ms. Congeniality in The Redheads of AZ. Pageant. I am continually getting compliments on the way I treat people. Go out of my way to help others and am an all around good person. I believe they got me mixed up with another handler. I do not drive and even if I could get to another Vet as they suggested, I would be required to have the Dr. do another exam. I am 71 and disabled. There is no money for another exam. So.....my service dog soon will not be current on his shots. They were all about the money, not caring about my dogs health. Cindy N.

I also understand triage in any emergency-vet emergency hospital or human ER. It's so hard to wait. That said, here were the things we were grateful for and knew they did a good job; reminded us it is triage. Listened intently and asked questions. Answered questions we had. Gave us an estimate and explanation of tests, scans, bloodwork, etc., and would let us know when we were nearing the top of that estimate so there were no surprises and always our choice on what to do next. Two different veterinarians worked on Luna's case. I would receive calls from them regarding their latest findings. I want to thank them. But I also especially want to thank the techs who also helped keep her as comfortable as hissy and miserable feeling cat could possibly be made. At the end of this mysterious battle of not knowing what on earth made her so sick, and ruling out every possible thing we could, we all did our best and worked together. And she made it through- which of course was our concern. Yep, we brought her there two times within the week. Yes, she had to wait one of those times to be seen by a veterinarian because other more emergent cases came in. It was hard knowing that because she's ours. But they kept monitoring her even during that time. The only small gripe I had was one older woman at the front who seemed impatient and kind of cold. But I ignored that as I figured she could have had a rough day. However, I hope she realizes the impact that can have on others, bad day or not- because our bad day is taking our pets in and being scared out of our minds we will lose them. Take a breath on a break and realize the positive impact she could make. Thanks for saving Luna. Thanks for the compassion-even though you see so many people's fur family members-you still understood each one is important to each family. It meant a lot. Keep doing that.

When I showed up the next day to retrieve my pet, they somehow all of a sudden had time to see him because I was there and angry at that point.I did not even want them looking at my pet and left without seeing seen after 24 hours. They sure keep that deposit to hold your pet even though they provide no services.
