Bartenders are dope, and the whiskey section is even doper (cheers to having Little Book). The setting is eclectic in the best way. I'd have given them a 3 star review based on just the dumplings. We decided to go for the Pad Thai special for our third dish and got it with chicken. The dish didn't really taste much like any Pad Thai I've ever had but wasn't unpleasant in sauce and noodle, it came with shrimp which was a little odd and the shrimp were a little bit over done. The killer here was the chicken. Have you ever microwaved raw chicken? You know how chewy and dry it gets? Well that's what was in our Pad Thai. It was really really bad. If this was the only thing we'd ordered I would have given them a 2 star review. That Pho though! Good enough that I will go back since the only other Pho I think is remotely as good is the recently renamed Pho R Us in south Asheville and I live a mere mile from Broadways. We ended up going on a karaoke night, and the host was wonderful. He was inclusive and fair and he got involved. The energy was felt by all.
