The gentleman they sent up to help was absolutely talented and kind. But the owner, Jeremy, was not amenable to fixing the entire problem. He allowed the contractor a certain amount of time to work, but the original issue remains. I'm disappointed in how Jeremy handled a situation that should have been done correctly to begin with.

So now the shingles are torn off and the project starts at around 10 AM A crew of none English speaking feverishly start the job. They continue working (men and women) until almost dark. The next day we got a good look at the final job and noticed the most horrible, unprofessional, uneven "Valley" one would could possible have. I contacted JSK and told them I wanted them to fix it. Jeremy Sager (owner) said that there was nothing wrong with it at first, but after a heated discussion, he said that it was our fault because the roof rafters at that location were sagging and it would cost us another $5,000. to remedy the problem. My question to him was, if they knew the roof rafters were sagging, then why not tell us before they covered them up. The whole experience with Jeremy Sager was very unsettling and his behavior was that of a very spoiled and undisciplined Child. This opinion of him has been shared by many professional businesses who know of him. Stay away from JKS Construction/roofing Co.

Numerous calls and emails to them trying to find out when they will start went without and answer for the next week, they never answered the phone or emails. We finally got through to them, and they said they were short staffed and couldn't give us a start date. When we contracted with them to do the job, we were told they needed a deposit so they could order the materials, this was at the end of September. Come to find out a week and half after they were supposed to do the project the materials were never ordered. We told them to cancel the job and refund our money (which is a sizable amount). They told us only the owner could do that. After a few days go by the owner called and apologized and told us he would cancel the job and refund our money. That was over 3 weeks ago and still no check from them. I would not recommend them to anyone, they can't be trusted.

After this they ripped apart every window to insulate it they pieced the window trim back together with the broken chipped up trim, so now my beautiful windows look terrible and I'm paying for their mistake. After this some of the workers got in trouble and everyday another dent would be found in our refrigerator or huge scratches in our dressers to the point of me not wanting them in the house without me their. Management did not come out to investinvestany of the complaints either. They stored our belongings and they came back broken or covered in rust, things they were paid to clean were never cleaned, and 17months later I finally received pictures that were restored from my house fire. They never asked me what color outlets I wanted, and proceeded to replace them, and then they put the old cover plates back on. Some outlets were white some cream, some covers were brown and over 50 years old. You will see from the photos, after Blandings "was done" and requesting payment. However first the inspector came in and checked off all the things they were supposed to do and didn't. Blandings had to come back and correct everything. Not only did they not do much of the work, they overcharges for what they did do. 2 guys, $42.50 an hour for a total of 40 hours to change 24 outlets, 4 motion flood lights and 2 bathroom fixtures. See photo of portion of bill. I could have done this myself in less than 8 hours with help from YouTube. This was a grant project, and I feel confident in saying they took advantage of that fact.
