Also, the wraps were awful -- dry and bland. I initially really liked the Daybreak wrap -- it was moist, cheesy, and flavourful, but when I ordered it again, it was dry and bland like the others. Conclusion: some of their food is pretty good (for the most part, they do steak, chicken, and potato/yam mashes well), but most of it is meh, and for $12.99 to $15.99 per meal, it is not worth ordering. And if I do find something I really like, I can't always re-order it because the menu changes every week. Despite being disappointed with the majority of the dishes, I decided to place an order last week. I ordered: my favourites Keto Grillin' and Macro Shred; Grecian Keto (chicken souvlaki with cheese and zucchini fritters, cauliflower hummus, and tzatziki), Those Thighs Oh My (paprika-seasoned chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, grilled zucchini, and red onion), T-Rex Goes Hunting (beef and broccoli stir fry over brown rice), and Sexy and You Know It (blackened chicken breast over pasta with sun-dried tomato sauce). The T-Rex Goes Hunting and Sexy and You Know It dishes were quite good (I'd re-order again), but I was disappointed with the Grecian Keto and Those Thighs Oh My. That being said, would I order from them again? Probably, from time to time. However, I will not be regularly ordering from them as there aren't always dishes I like, and when I try something new, the majority of the dishes are just so-so. Not bad, but not worth the price. Give them a try, and if you like their food, awesome! Note that they only deliver on Sundays and Mondays (you must place an order by Thursday of the previous week), and the delivery fee is a very reasonable $5 for orders under $100 (free delivery over $100).

As well she incorporates as much organic ingredient as she can. All her sauces are home made. I have some health issues and ran her meal options by my dietician, who gave it a thumbs up. In fact, more than a thumbs up as the dietician has added this company to her list of recommended food delivery services for her patients, which shows the quality of the food. I used to use a couple other frozen food delivery services but found that their portions weren't quite enough for a family of four, whereas the Real Meal portions (the larges) are really good for a family of 4. So far I have placed about 15 different orders each of 4 various family meals, so that's a total of about 60 meals I've had thanks to Real Meals. We have made three orders so far for busy work weeks. The Shepard's pie is my favourite. The soups are hearty and great portions. We are happy with the quality of food, the delivery service and the ease at which we can order online. Finally, a food delivery service that doesn't get boring after one week. My only reservation is that they still have a limited menu, but I'm sure Sarah is working on it. Support this wholesome company.

It is quite delicious with the pounded yam. It is something that is out of the ordinary, and I recommend. Service can be a bit slow so be prepared for a minimum 1.5-2 hour experience. Music is terribly loud so it is almost impossible to hold a conversation. I had to ask the server to repeat things a few times since there is otherwise no way to hear, and they never turned the volume down.

I always hear about meal prep plans and even though I love cooking, I run out of ideas. So, I am glad I got to try local and healthy lunches that kept me away from the afternoon food coma feeling! I dug into their website just a bit more and found out that they pack and delivery food from local Vancouver eateries that serve plant-based foods. Conveniently and food safe stored in refrigerator bags with massive ice packs, I was able to receive my delivery at my office. I had 4 lunches for the week and my concern was freshness. However, when I ate the last packed meal, I was extremely surprised at how the vegetables stayed fresh, crunchy and without any visible discolouration/oxidation. Also, I noticed that the flavours of each meal were strong and obvious. I didn't miss my meat at all. From coconut sauce to Korean cauliflower "wings", I kept marveling at my food (trust me, even my co-workers who bought lunch kept saying it smelled good). I actually microwaved all the bowls and I think it tasted a lot better that way. There was Cauliflower 'wings', Korean style Beefless Ground and Mapo Tofu. I absolutely LOVED the mushroom walnut patê spread. Safe to say, I would order this bowl again!! Everyone needs to try. The 'Almost' Poke Bowl fooled me when I opened the lid because the sesame marinated vegan ahimi aka dried tomatoes smelled like heavenly sesame oil and looked like tuna. I think this bowl was perfect if you are worried you will feel hungry because it was packed in a larger bowl and I even had trouble finishing it due to the fiber. Overall, I highly recommend Gomae Meal Prep because it saved me time and I definitely saw an improvement in my afternoon energy level. There was one time they accidentally delivered one wrong meal to me and as soon as I let them know; they responded within minutes and offered to come by and swap the meal out and offered me a free meal the following week. I feel like Gomae is a company that truly cares about their customers - I just can't say enough positive things about them! I am someone who has always said over the past few years that I would NEVER do a meal delivery service but Gomae has totally changed my perspective. I needed to buy some of their ready-to-heat patties to bring home. I am so happy I did. My wife wanted something quick to eat after getting off work and it was the perfect opportunity to suggest the mild beef patties I had just brought home. She popped them in the toaster oven at 350F for 15mins and huzzah! The house smells amazing and we both get to enjoy a patty. The pastry is light and flakey while the beef is lean and flavourful. I wanted to eat another one or two, but I gotta save them to enjoy with my daughter. A five pack will set you back $15 and is well worth it. I'll be buying more and taking advantage of their delivery services.
